Jiulongshan National Forest Park is located in Chuanfangyu, east of Jixian County, with a total area of 2,126 hectares. It has three major scenic spots: Jiulongshan, Limutaishan and Huanghuashan. It was approved as a forest park in 1995 and upgraded to a national forest park in 1997. It is currently the largest and only mountain national forest park in Tianjin. In the deep valley in the northeast of the park, nine ridges stand in a row, just like nine dragons gathering together, hence the name Jiulongshan. The park is one of the 50 ecological environment tourism lines in the country. The ancient address, dense forests and abundant water sources have formed a unique ecological environment here. The secluded forests, ancient caves, strange peaks and beautiful waters show the infinite charm of nature. There are beautiful views in all seasons, and the scenery is different. Experts highly evaluate Jiulongshan Park as: "A paradise on earth, a holiday paradise and a place for health preservation."

Philosophy related to the heritage

Interpretation of Jiulongshan National Forest Park from the perspective of Eastern philosophy From the perspective of Eastern philosophy, Jiulongshan National Forest Park is a natural landscape full of "Tao". In Taoist philosophy, nature and man coexist harmoniously, emphasizing "the unity of man and nature", and believing that man should follow nature and live in harmony with nature. The mountains, forests, and streams of Jiulongshan all reflect the rhythm and harmony of nature, and are the concrete manifestation of "Tao". Here, visitors can experience a kind of serenity beyond the world, feel the endless life of nature, and comprehend the philosophical thought of "ruling by doing nothing", that is, finding inner peace and self in nature. Interpretation of Jiulongshan National Forest Park from the perspective of Western philosophy From the perspective of Western philosophy, especially existentialism and phenomenology, Jiulongshan National Forest Park provides a place to explore the relationship between self and nature. Existentialism emphasizes individual freedom and choice, and believes that people should find themselves in nature and realize personal freedom and sense of existence through interaction with nature. In the natural environment of Jiulong Mountain, visitors can deeply experience direct contact with nature. This experience is not only sensory, but also spiritual. It prompts people to reflect on their own position in the universe and the relationship between man and nature. Phenomenology focuses on direct experience. Every landscape and every breath in Jiulong Mountain is a direct perception of natural phenomena. This perception goes beyond rational analysis and directly touches the essence of existence. Whether it is the "unity of man and nature" in Eastern philosophy or existentialism and phenomenology in Western philosophy, Jiulongshan National Forest Park provides a unique space for visitors to conduct profound philosophical thinking in the embrace of nature and experience a spiritual journey beyond daily life.
