Shangfangshan National Forest Park

Shangfang Mountain is located in Hancunhe Town, Fangshan District, Beijing, about 60 kilometers away from downtown Beijing. It is a mountainous natural scenic spot. The total area of the scenic spot is 3.53 square kilometers, and it has the only well-preserved original secondary forest in North China. The forest coverage rate is over 90%, and it has the largest group of famous trees and ancient trees in Beijing, including more than 10 thousand-year-old trees, 34 first-level ancient trees, and more than 4,000 second-level ancient trees. The cypress king, pine king, ginkgo king, and locust king are collectively known as the "four thousand-year-old tree kings". The nine caves are: Tianwang Cave, Jiuhuan Cave, Yanshou Cave, Yinyang Cave, Huayan Cave, Vajra Cave, Chaoyang Cave, Xifang Cave, Yunshui Cave; the twelve peaks are: Zijin Ridge, Guanyin Peak, Xiaoyue Peak, Huilong Peak, Pilu Peak, Jinxiu Peak, Xiangwang Peak, Wanghai Peak, Tianzhu Peak, Camel Peak, Chaluo Peak, Shizi Peak, and there are 72 Zen temples headed by "Duolu Temple". It is known as "Suhang in the south and Shangfang in the north". It is a famous plant-rich area, with 103 families, 363 genera, 625 species and 20 variants of vascular plants; 199 species of woody plants and 446 species of herbaceous plants.

Jiushanding Natural Scenic Area

Jiulongshan National Forest Park is located in Chuanfangyu, east of Jixian County, with a total area of 2,126 hectares. It has three major scenic spots: Jiulongshan, Limutaishan and Huanghuashan. It was approved as a forest park in 1995 and upgraded to a national forest park in 1997. It is currently the largest and only mountain national forest park in Tianjin. In the deep valley in the northeast of the park, nine ridges stand in a row, just like nine dragons gathering together, hence the name Jiulongshan. The park is one of the 50 ecological environment tourism lines in the country. The ancient address, dense forests and abundant water sources have formed a unique ecological environment here. The secluded forests, ancient caves, strange peaks and beautiful waters show the infinite charm of nature. There are beautiful views in all seasons, and the scenery is different. Beijing Jiugukou Natural Scenic Area

Jiugukou Scenic Area is located in Hefangkou, Huaibei Town, Huairou County, about 80 kilometers away from Beijing. The scenic area covers an area of more than 10,000 mu, with a mountain forest coverage rate of more than 85%, animals and birds living in it, and has a good ecological environment. The cultural landscape in the scenic area includes the ancient Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty, and the natural landscape includes nine valleys: Wangcheng Valley, Yinhe Valley, Baiyang Valley, Xiangquan Valley, Yixiantian, Jingshi Valley, Taoyuan Valley, Niuti Valley, and Tengluo Valley. According to historical records, this place was already a military stronghold in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and was heavily guarded all year round. The beacon tower "Jiabianlou" is a masterpiece in the history of Great Wall architecture, and is recorded in detail in the Badaling Museum.
