Located on the east side of Yongdingmenwai Street. Opened in the early years of the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, the original site was located in the south of Dashi Road outside Qianmen. It is a wood shop in Beijing that specializes in tables, chairs, cabinets and boxes. The founder's surname was Wang. Around the beginning of the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, he opened a small timber factory to the east of Tongxinghe Hardwood Table and Chair Shop on the south side of Dashi Road, contracting carpentry work in house construction. Soon, he changed to table and chair business and named it Longshun. A few years later, because of joint venture with others, the name was changed to Longshuncheng. It mainly produces and sells hardwood furniture such as eight-immortal tables, six-immortal tables, two-drawer tables, shelf tables, long tables, kitchen cabinets, cash cabinets, cabinets, three-piece cabinets, square stools, long stools, official hat chairs, round chairs, boxes, etc., and the business is booming. Elm lacquer products are very famous. Longshuncheng wood products attach great importance to quality and advocate credibility first. One paint and three oils (that is, before painting, apply a layer of tung oil to make it penetrate into the wood, dry it for about a month, and then apply three coats of paint), and never cut corners. In order to win the trust of customers, Long Shuncheng wrote the three characters "Long Shuncheng" on each piece of wood and painted it with paint as a mark. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War in 1945, the business declined due to the emergence of new-style furniture. In 1956, it participated in the public-private partnership and merged with 35 other factories including Xinglong Table and Chair Shop and Tongxinghe Hardwood Furniture Store to be called Long Shuncheng Table and Chair Shop. In 1963, Long Shuncheng moved its factory to the east of Yongdingmen Outer Street and concentrated on the production of "Jingzuo" hardwood furniture. Its products entered the international market and were very popular. At present, Long Shuncheng has been renamed Beijing Hardwood Furniture Factory.
