Climbing the knife mountain and crossing the sea of fire are folk stunts in Zhongtuan Village, Yongping Township, Wuping County. With a history of more than 150 years, they are passed down by the males of the Lan family in the village and are not passed down to outsiders. They are performed on the 15th day of the 10th lunar month every year, and are particularly grand in the years of the tiger, the monkey, the monkey, and the pig. The stunt performances mainly include climbing the knife mountain, crossing the sea of fire, fishing out of the oil pot, and hanging rice buckets. There are also activities such as setting off firecrackers in the palm of your hand, burning incense, sword techniques, and sitting on a cone bed. There is a complete set of procedures and taboos for making performance equipment.
