Folk acrobatics Yuechi folk acrobatics started relatively late. During the Republic of China period, a folk acrobatics group in Hubei went bankrupt after entering Wusheng Shipan and Yuechi Jialing. Some artists had no money to return home, so they taught apprentices along the way in Yuechi Pingtan and other places to make a living. Therefore, there are many acrobatics in Yuechi Pingtan, Jialing and Xiban. The most distinctive folk acrobatics in Yuechi are folk juggling, Tongzigong, tooth kung fu, magic and other programs. Tongzigong actors Hu Cheng, Hu Ze and others can hold a bowl in their mouths, hold a bowl with their stomachs, and hold a bowl with both hands, with only their heads and feet touching the ground and flipping their heads. The movements are amazing and the actors are not damaged. After long-term training, the actors have developed hard bags as big as goose eggs on their heads. The lower teeth of actors such as Hu Cheng can support more than 100 kilograms of weight to perform mechanical programs. Folk jugglers Yang Yuansi, Xu Juehui, and Chen Honglian performed magic neatly, and the large-scale optical magic "Vase Girl" and other programs were amazing. Yuechi artists have performed judoka, board shaking, tightrope walking, umbrella techniques and hard qigong to perfection, and have been highly praised by audiences from all over the country.
