Wu Song (Yangcheng Fisherman's Song), a folk literature project in the fourth batch of representative projects of Jiangsu Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage, was submitted by Xiangcheng District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. Yangcheng Fisherman's Song, as a way of life for the working people in the Yangcheng Lake area when working in the fields, fishing in the lake and expressing love, has been passed down and widely sung by word of mouth for hundreds of years since records began. As one of the direct descendants of Wu Song, Yangcheng Fisherman's Song is full of the characteristics of the Jiangnan water town and the original ecological characteristics. The singing is euphemistic, clear, implicit and lingering. It is the crystallization of the wisdom of the working people and has been successfully selected into the Jiangsu Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage Representative Project List.
