The production of Shuangfeng mutton noodles is roughly the same as the cooking of other mutton in terms of selecting tender rams and stewing over low heat. The key to the process is the seasoning, which requires the addition of more than a dozen seasonings and Chinese herbal medicines, so the taste is unique, the mutton skin is fat and crispy, but there is no smell of mutton; the noodle soup is thick but not turbid, and oily but not greasy. Shuangfeng mutton noodles have high nutritional value. Mutton is warm in nature and sweet in taste. It can warm the meridians and replenish blood, benefit the kidneys and strengthen yang, strengthen the essence and bones. It is a good tonic for winter. Eating it can enhance physical fitness. Because it is popular with the public, Shuangfeng mutton noodles are also of great value to the development of the local economy. Shuangfeng now holds a mutton food festival every year. Shuangfeng mutton noodle restaurants are spread all over Taicang city and country. Many people come from Shanghai, Suzhou and other places. It has become a local food culture brand.
