Yixing was called Yangxian in ancient times, and has a long history of tea production. It was already quite prestigious in the Eastern Han Dynasty. In the middle of the Tang Dynasty, "Yangxian tea" was designated as tribute tea, known as "Yangxian tribute tea". Until the dynasties in the early Qing Dynasty, Yangxian tea has always been favored by the court and literati. Yixing is currently one of the largest commercial tea production bases in the province. Famous teas such as "Yangxian Snow Bud", "Yangxian Gold Hair" and "Ji Tea" dominate Yixing's tea products. The two main types of tea in our city are black tea and green tea. The production process of green tea mainly includes spreading, killing green, rolling and shaping and drying; the production process of black tea mainly includes withering, rolling, fermentation and drying.
