Siyang Music Siyang music is relatively developed, but its history is unknown. Most of the folk tunes originated from other places, including "Xiahe Tune", "Sizhou Tune", "Da Ya Pai", "Da Wu Geng", "Xiao Wu Geng", "Four Seasons Spring Tour", "Ba Duan Jin", "Ten Persuading Lang", "Embroidered Purse", "Dressing Table", "Little Cowherd", etc., and the content is mostly about love between men and women. After the Anti-Japanese War, most of them were replaced with anti-imperialist and anti-feudal content by "putting new wine in old bottles". Folk instruments include erhu, sihu, sheng, flute, pipe, flute, suona, drum, gong, cymbals and the like. The most representative one is the "blowing team", which is a folk band with at least 4 people, usually 6 people, and up to 8 people. It is also called "forty classes", "sixty classes" and "eighty classes". In the old days, when there were funerals and weddings, most families would hire "blowing teams", and the blowers were all men. The instruments are mainly suona, accompanied by sheng, flute, erhu, hall gong, cymbals, hall drums and the like (drums are not used for weddings). The artists played until the evening, and also performed some magic, acrobatics and other juggling shows. Before the Anti-Japanese War, this kind of folk band was the most popular, with no less than a hundred in the county. The famous ones include "Ge Gua Band", "Wang Yulian Band", "Zhu Xueli Band", etc. They each had their own teachers and formed a school. At that time, the social status of artists was very low, so most of the people who became apprentices were children from poor families with no place to go. After liberation, the number of families hiring "blowers" gradually decreased, and even fewer people became apprentices. During the ten years of the "Cultural Revolution", the "blower band" was almost extinct. After 1980, there was a trend of slow development, and some female artists appeared. At present, the employment of "blower bands" is also limited to funerals. "Blowers" can play and sing. The content not only retains many traditional repertoires, but also incorporates many folk songs and popular songs. Some even have arranged a lot of performances.
