Uyghur Qierkumu Maixirefu
Maixirefu is a special form of folk entertainment for the Uygur people in Xinjiang. It is also an ancient folk cultural activity with a long history and continuous inheritance. The word "Mixirefu" comes from Arabic, meaning "gathering". Maixirefu is mainly based on dance and entertainment activities, and the participants entertain themselves and there are many people. Maixirefu can be divided into singing and dancing Maixirefu, game Maixirefu, and rap Maixirefu according to the performance form, and can also be divided into living room Maixirefu, welcoming Maixirefu and harvest Maixirefu according to the performance content. All parts of Xinjiang have their own Maixirefu, which are similar in form, and are named "Daolang", "Koke", "Tahe" and so on, each with different characteristics. The Uygur Qierkumu Maixirefu is a form of Daolang Maixirefu, which is spread in Qierkumu Village and Kedimu Ayma Village in Karatale Town, Aksu City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It was formed on the basis of the production and life of the people in these two villages. It consists of lyrics, music (Mukam), dance and various humorous traditional folk games, and has a history of more than 400 years. At present, many people in Aksu city and villages can dance the Cherikumumaixirepu dance, and there are more than 70 folk artists who can play the music of Cherikumumaixirepu, but there are very few people who know how to play humorous folk games. Today, the content and form of Cherikumumaixirepu are gradually being enriched and improved, becoming a well-preserved precious cultural heritage of ethnic minorities.
