Zhushui shadow play is a shadow play art in Zhushui Village, Jinhaihu Town, Pinggu District. Shadow play, also known as "shadow play" or "lantern shadow play", is a folk drama that uses silhouettes of characters made of animal skins or cardboard to perform stories. Zhushui Village shadow play originated in Lanzhou, Gansu, and was integrated with Tangshan shadow play. After absorbing the singing characteristics of Tangshan shadow play, it developed into a unique singing color. Zhushui's shadow play has been passed down for three generations. The performance themes are mainly historical stories, myths and legends, and fables. The themes and content are positive. The main traditional scripts are "Wufeng Meeting" and "Mulan Joins the Army".
