Zhouzhi Daoqing is an intangible cultural heritage protection project circulated in Zhouzhi County, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. Daoqing is a kind of folk singing art of the Han nationality that promotes Taoist doctrines and doctrines and serves Taoism. Initially, it advocated the self-cultivation of Taoism and changed from evil to good, which is also what Taoists call "enlightenment". Zhouzhi County has a long history. Louguantai in Zhouzhi County is the place where Laozi (Li Er) preached. Later, in the Han, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, Louguantai became a famous Taoist temple in the country, with many visitors. Under such circumstances, some people in Taoism changed the classics and documents in the religion into "Daoqing" singing. Louguantai is also the birthplace of the "Daoqing" form of folk art. Daoqing is based on the four characters of "purity, virtue, high, and carrying" as its doctrine. Purity means purity and inaction. Virtue means virtue, longevity and morality. High means high character and integrity. Carrying means to promote doctrine. The earliest Daoqing was seen by wandering Taoists singing with sharp boards and fish drums. Later, it was spread among the people, and it took the form of one person singing and everyone singing together. After a long period of evolution, it gradually formed a repertoire with a storyline. Because the main melody and phrases of Daoqing are derived from the Taoist scriptures, listening to the singing of "Daoqing" is similar to the Taoist chanting. The characteristics of Zhouzhi Daoqing are: delicate, gentle, pleasant, pleasant, lively, and prosperous. Among them, "bo" (collective sound connection) is rare in other dramas, making the singing more lively. The musical instruments of Zhouzhi Daoqing include sharp boards, fish drums, three-way boards, (cloud incense boards), bells, banhu, side drums, leather drums, cymbals, gongs, flutes, teeth, etc. To this day, there are still legends about the musical instruments of Zhouzhi Daoqing. It is said that a long time ago, a Taoist saw that the sky was so big, and it would always have an edge, so he rode his donkey to the west to find the edge of the sky. After a long, long journey, he returned to the original place. When he passed the east coast and rested for a few hours, he found that there were many fish bones on the coast after the tide receded. He picked up a few and put them together, and they became a round cylinder. He did this three times in a row, and it became a round cylinder of two meters, so it was called "fish drum". According to legend, this person is one of the Eight Immortals, named Zhang Guolao, also known as the Wandering Taoist. Later, he joined Laozi's door and often preached and taught in the world. According to legend, there are 24 groups of overseas immortals who gave him two sharp boards with scales on them, four seasons, eight festivals, and 24 solar terms. He used the fish drum and sharp board as tools for heavenly orders and propaganda, and bowed three times and knocked nine times in the morning and evening. Therefore, the sharp board and fish drum are the main accompaniment instruments of Taoist percussion music. Legend has it that the Yunxiangban is the instrument held by Lan Caihe in the Eight Immortals, and is an indispensable percussion instrument when singing "Daoqing". In the past, when many painters painted "celestial beings", there was a white cloud in front and behind, and a floating cloud below. This is a description and metaphor of the original shape of the Yunxiangban. The singing content of Zhouzhi Daoqing is mainly based on the "Eight Immortals Story", expressing loyalty, filial piety, chastity, and righteousness, as well as other contents. The singing repertoires include: "Whip Reed Flowers", "Baihua Mountain", "Selling Taoist Robes", "Bacha Poems", "Chrysanthemum Pavilion Ferry Mother", "Xiangzi Ferry Lin Ying", "Xiao Ruxian", "Hangzhou Selling Magic Pills", "Gao Laozhuang", "Filial Mother Gets Gold", "Zhuangyuan and Brother", "Three Filial Piety Gives Up Property", "Lü Mengzheng Goes to Fast", etc. In terms of music composition, Zhouzhi Daoqing has five kinds of Han (accompaniment by interval): high-pitched wave, flat sound device, short wave, flower sound wave, tail wave, plum blossom color tune wave, etc. Its board styles include: bitter sound collapse board, continuous board, substitute board, slow board, big board, flat tail collapse board, etc. The tunes include Zao Luo Pao, Yi Zhi Hua, Wu Ye Ti, Mu Yang Guan, Yan Er Wu, Shisan Diao, Wu Geng Ci, Shua Hai Er, Mei Hua Diao, etc. Zhouzhi Daoqing is the embodiment of the life form of the people in Guanzhong, Shaanxi during the agricultural civilization period, and it is also the embodiment of the Taoist and Confucian consciousness in Guanzhong. At the same time, from the perspective of aesthetic art, the music of Zhouzhi Daoqing is simple and elegant, clear and euphemistic, the plot is profound, the image is vivid and fascinating, so it has a deep mass base in the local area.
