Jufengyuan Restaurant is located in the northern section of Jiefang Road. It was founded in Shanghai in the 1930s and moved to Xi'an in 1956 to support the construction of the Northwest. It closed due to a fire in 1965, was rebuilt and resumed in 1970, and was renamed Xi'an Sichuan Restaurant. In 1983, it was fully reorganized and rebuilt and restored to its original name, Jufengyuan Restaurant. It has a business area of 1,600 square meters and 150 employees, including 21 first-, second- and third-level chefs. In addition to inheriting its original traditional famous dishes, it has also trial-produced, introduced and innovated 360 dishes and 20 noodles. Famous dishes include dry-fried ribs, pot-crusted squid, bean paste carp, pickled pepper chicken slices, Sichuan-style assorted hot pot, and dry-fried eel shreds. Famous dishes include three-fresh siu mai, seafood steamed dumplings, spinach shredded oil cakes, phoenix tail crisp whole chicken banquet, all-vegetarian banquet, Sichuan-style snack banquet, etc., which enjoy a high reputation among customers.
