Huangtu Shaoyang Opera is a kind of ancient Nuo Opera performed by villagers in Dashuigou, Longchang Town, at the local Guandi Temple. The predecessor of Huangtu Shaoyang Opera was called "Yuanhuang Baotan". Huangtu Shaoyang Opera has a wide range of performances, and can be performed continuously for a month without repetition. Regular performances are held three times a year, in the first month, fifth month, and sixth month of the lunar calendar, and a full performance of a play takes four days and four nights.
