The Lisu dance "Achimu Gua" means "goat's dance" or "the tune of imitating the call of goats". It is popular in Tongle and Xinle areas of Yezhi Town, Weixi Lisu Autonomous County, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It is a local traditional self-entertainment folk dance. Weixi has a poor transportation system in history, and the Lisu people have little contact with the outside world. The production mode is basically in a semi-agricultural and semi-pastoral stage. Goats are livestock that every family must raise, and the relationship between goats and the lives of the Weixi Lisu people is very close. "Achimu Gua" is also related to goats, and is a vivid expression of the traditional production, life, thoughts and feelings of the Weixi Lisu people. The costumes of the "Achimu Gua" dancers are very unique. According to Yu Qingyuan's "Weixi Records" in the Qing Dynasty, when performing "Achimu Gua", "men wear hairpins in their buns, weave wheat straw into tassels and adorn their hair, and often wear sharp blades when going out. Women wear hair hoops, wear round collars, and wear skirts and pants." Nowadays, this unique costume is rare. The only people who still wear wheat straw as tassels in their hair in the "Achi Mu Gua" performance are the Lisu people in Yezhi Town. The dance form of "Achi Mu Gua" is passionate and unrestrained, with a unique style, and basically maintains the traditional folk art form. At present, only some elderly people can dance some traditional dance routines, and they are facing a crisis of inheritance.
