Zheng is one of the oldest plucked instruments in my country. Yangzhou is one of the birthplaces of Chu Zheng, where there have been Zheng players from generation to generation, and many of them are famous. The Zheng is exquisitely carved and the craftsmanship is ingenious. The inheritance is orderly and has a wide influence. The fingering of Yangzhou Zheng is unique, and it is deeply influenced by the Guangling School of Guqin. Many Guqin players are also Zheng players. They changed Guqin music into Zheng music, and the "stroking" flavor is very strong when playing the Guqin, which led to the development of Yangzhou Zheng in an elegant direction. Yangzhou Zheng is deeply rooted in the fertile soil of Yangzhou folk culture. Most of the popular Zheng music is Yangzhou folk songs, and the chanting and rubbing decorations are similar to the tones of folk songs. Yangzhou Zheng is compatible with the north and the south. Many folk Zheng music of the Guqin School has been introduced and transplanted by Yangzhou Zheng players, and even integrated with the local style of Yangzhou. Yangzhou Zheng is made of exquisite materials, elegant style, exquisite workmanship, and excellent sound quality. After combining with Yangzhou's traditional craftsmanship, it adds a bit of charm.
