Zichang Daoqing
The Daoqing music in the territory is divided into two routes, the east and the west, with Wayaobao, the county seat, as the boundary. The eastern Daoqing (introduced from Mizhi, Suide, also known as the Haihai tune) has many supporting words during the singing process, with a brisk rhythm, relaxed and lively emotions, and passionate and unrestrained. The western Daoqing (also known as the Xiliang tune, introduced from Gansu and Ningxia) has a melodious and elegant tune, a slow rhythm, and presents the interest of folk songs. There are many love songs, which can meet the performance of some drama stories. (Zichang Daoqing is generally performed in the order of the beginning, the introduction or the big overture) and the end of the original. The tunes are mainly "cross tune", "Maoliang tune" and "Shuahai tune", which are mostly used alone in quyi. Sometimes other tunes are inserted for novelty and the need of lyrics, and there is a "falling board" at the end. Zichang Daoqing has a free rhythm. Actors can extend a certain note at any time according to the plot. There is often a phenomenon of "strong and weak alternation", which is roughly "one beat and one eye" (2/4) and "one beat and three eyes" (4/4). The scattered beats without beats and eyes are more common. Information source: Zichang People's Government (no pictures yet, welcome to provide.)
