Ancient Gongzao Garden
The Juguan Ancient Tribute Jujube Garden is located in Juguan Village on the banks of the Niangniang River in Qijiawu Township, Huanghua City, Hebei Province. It is the largest and oldest existing ancient winter jujube garden in China and the only plant unit among the national key cultural relics protection units.
The Eighth Route Army 129th Division Headquarters Memorial Hall
The Memorial Hall of the 129th Division of the Eighth Route Army is located in Chi'an Village, Henandian Town, She County, at the eastern foot of Taihang Mountain, southwest of Hebei Province, and at the junction of Hebei, Shanxi and Henan Provinces. Huangliangmeng Luxian Temple
The Yellow Millet Dream Lvxian Temple is a famous cultural relic and tourist attraction in Hebei Province. It is a national key cultural relic protection unit and a national AAA-level tourist attraction. Lvxian Temple is a Quanzhen Taoist temple based on the Tang Dynasty legend "The Pillow Book". It was built in the early Northern Song Dynasty and covers an area of 14,000 square meters. The main building is a complex of buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is one of the largest and best preserved Taoist temples in northern China. The temple is shaded by red walls, lush green trees, rippling blue waves, and floating green smoke... Qinglong Mountain Scenic Area
Qinglongshan Scenic Area is located in Wangdianzi Town, western Luan County, Tangshan City, Hebei Province. Grape Valley Scenic Area Picking Garden
Grape Valley in Changli County is a famous tourist attraction in Hebei Province. It is located in Xishanchang Village, Shilipu Township, Changli County, Qinhuangdao City. It is the leeward slope of Jieshi Mountain in Cao Cao's poem "Looking at the vast sea from Jieshi in the east". Wuyuezhai Tourist Area
Wuyuezhai Tourist Area is located in the mountainous area in the northwest of Lingshou County, Hebei Province, 110 kilometers south of the provincial capital Shijiazhuang and across the mountain from the Buddhist holy land Wutai Mountain in the north. It covers a total area of 120 square kilometers and is named after the five peaks standing side by side and having the characteristics of the Five Sacred Mountains. The park is part of the Manshan Nature Reserve in Hebei Province, including three major scenic areas, more than 360 scenic spots, high mountains and dense forests, and rich resources. Xiaowutaishan Forest Park
Xiaowutaishan National Nature Reserve is located in Weixian and Zhuolu counties in Zhangjiakou, northwest Hebei Province, and borders Mentougou District, Beijing, and Laishui County, Baoding, to the east. It is 60 kilometers long from east to west and 28 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of 21,833 hectares. The reserve is a forest wildlife type nature reserve, and the main protected objects are natural coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forests, subalpine shrubs, meadows, and the national first-class key protected animal brown pheasant.
North Wudang Mountain
Beiwudang Mountain is located in the western mountainous area of Shahe City, Xingtai City, Hebei Province. The main peak is 1,437.3 meters above sea level, commonly known as "Laoye Mountain". The "Shunde Prefecture Chronicle" records: Beiwudang Mountain is 120 miles west of the prefecture. There is a Temple of Xuantian God on it, also known as Xiaowudang, and next to it are Qinglong Mountain and Baihu Mountain. It is 60 kilometers away from Shahe City and is a key scenic spot in Hebei Province. Beiwudang Mountain Scenic Spot was rated as a provincial scenic spot in 1992 and a national 2A scenic spot in 2008. Dong Cunrui Martyrs Cemetery
The Dong Cunrui Martyrs Cemetery is located at the foot of Taishan Mountain in the northwest of Longhua County, Hebei Province, on the east bank of the Yison River. It was built in 1954 on the site of the former palace of the Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty in memory of the nationally renowned combat hero Dong Cunrui. After several large-scale expansions in 1957, 1960, 1973 and 2008, it now covers an area of 91,600 square meters, making it the largest cemetery named after a martyr in the country. There are 13 main buildings in the park, including the memorial archway, the martyrs' monument, the statue of the martyr Dong Cunrui, the martyrs' tomb, the memorial hall, and the forest of steles. It also houses more than 210 inscriptions, calligraphy and paintings by older generations of revolutionaries, scholars and celebrities for the martyr Cunrui. The park was designated as a provincial key cultural relic protection unit by the Hebei Provincial People's Government in 1982, approved as a national key martyrs' memorial building protection unit by the State Council in 1986, designated as a patriotism education demonstration base by the Ministry of Civil Affairs in January 1995, named and recommended to primary and secondary schools by the State Education Commission, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Ministry of Culture, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, and the General Political Department of the People's Liberation Army in September 1996, designated as a national patriotism education demonstration base by the Central Propaganda Department in 1997, and selected as one of the top 100 classic red tourism scenic spots in the country at the end of 2004. In 2008, the state invested 28.18 million yuan to build the Heroes Square and the Dong Cunrui Memorial Hall. The new hall covers an area of 2,300 square meters and has an investment of 10 million yuan. The sound, light, electricity and projection technology in the hall have reached the domestic advanced level. The hall was opened to the public on May 25, 2008, and the Heroes Square has also been put into use. The construction of these hardware facilities has improved the tourism reception capacity and enhanced the brand influence of the Dong Cunrui Martyrs Cemetery Red Scenic Area, providing an important place for the general public, especially minors, to inherit the revolutionary tradition and receive patriotic education, and has become the first choice for tourists. In 2008, it was named the Provincial Integrity Education Demonstration Base by the Hebei Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Propaganda Department of the Hebei Provincial Party Committee. Wanlong Ski Resort
Wanlong Ski Resort is located in Honghualiang area, Chongli County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. It is the first open ski resort in China, covering an area of more than 700,000 square meters, with the highest point at an altitude of 2,110.3 meters and a vertical drop of 550 meters. It is 249 kilometers away from Beijing and 60 kilometers away from Zhangjiakou City. Zhen Zeguan
Zhenze Temple in Shahe is located in Zhaosishui Village, Shahe City, Hebei Province. It has been repaired and expanded in successive dynasties. By the Ming Dynasty, it had become a large-scale Taoist temple. The temple fairs on March 1, September 7, and September 24 every year are well-known. The temple is filled with incense and people come and go. Outside the temple, there are busy cars and vendors. It is now one of the Taoist activity venues in Shahe City. Zhenze Temple was first built during the Kaiyuan Li Longji period of the Tang Dynasty (713-715 AD), more than 1,200 years ago. During the reign of Emperor Huizong of Song Dynasty, it was expanded on a large scale, and then three major repairs were carried out. By the early years of the Republic of China, it had begun to take shape. The temple has towering ancient cypresses, magnificent halls, and inscriptions in the forest. To commemorate the heroic deeds of the martyr Dong Cunrui, two Dong Cunrui Martyrs Memorial Halls were built in Huailai County, Hebei Province, the hero's hometown, and Longhua County, where he died. The Dong Cunrui Martyrs Memorial Hall in Huailai County is usually called the old hall, with a construction area of 8,800 square meters. Next to the Dong Cunrui Martyrs Cemetery in Longhua County, the rebuilt Dong Cunrui Martyrs Memorial Hall is divided into four parts: reception area, memorial square for paying tribute to martyrs, exhibition area and stele forest area, with a total investment of 5 million yuan.
Cao Yu Memorial Hall
Cao Yu's former residence is located on the east side of Minzhu Road, Hebei District, Tianjin. It faces east and west, and is a two-story brick-and-wood structure, built in the late Qing Dynasty. It is bounded by the courtyard wall of No. 21 Minzhu Road in the east, the courtyard wall of No. 27 Minzhu Road in the west, and the courtyard wall of No. 23 Minzhu Road in the north and south.
Cao Yu's Former Residence
Cao Yu's former residence is located on the east side of Minzhu Road, Hebei District, Tianjin. It faces east and west, and is a two-story brick-wood structure building that was built in the late Qing Dynasty. It is bounded by the courtyard wall of No. 21 Minzhu Road in the east, the courtyard wall of No. 27 Minzhu Road in the west, and the courtyard wall of No. 23 Minzhu Road in the north. The existing courtyard is narrow, with a two-story building and five bungalows. No. 23 Courtyard (front yard) faces south and north, and has the same environment as above, with a two-story corridor and two independent small buildings in front and back. No. 23 Courtyard covers an area of 510.89 square meters and a construction area of 483.29 square meters. No. 25 Courtyard covers an area of 401.55 square meters and a construction area of 343.82 square meters.
Bangchui Peak Forest Park
Bangchui Peak Forest Park is commonly known as Bangchui Mountain, and was called Shiting in ancient times. It is located on the top of a mountain on the east bank of Wulie River in the northeast of Hebei City. It stands on a high mountain hill about ten miles east of Bishu Mountain Villa, about 2.5 kilometers away from the city. It is suspended by a cliff below and connected to the blue sky above. The situation is extremely dangerous. The peak is thick at the top and thin at the bottom, shaped like a club. It is 596 meters above sea level, with a diameter of 10.7 meters at the bottom and 15.04 meters at the top. It is 38.29 meters high. Together with the protruding base under the club, it is 60 meters high. There is a mulberry tree halfway up the club, named Mengsang (also known as Yasang), which is 3 meters high and about 30 centimeters in diameter. It has about 300 annual rings and bears white mulberries that are fat and large. For 300 years, Shifeng and Mengsang have been dependent on each other. Mengsang relies on Shifeng for survival, and Shifeng is interesting because of Mengsang.
Cao Family Garden
Cao's Garden, located on Wuma Road in Hebei District, Tianjin, was originally Sun's Garden. In the late Qing Dynasty, it was built by Sun Zhongying, a comprador and arms merchant. Today, it is the location of the 254th Hospital of the People's Liberation Army. Sun Zhongying, a native of Nanjing, Jiangsu, initially worked in a bank in Shanghai. In the 16th year of Emperor Guangxu's reign (1890), he came to Tianjin to do business and worked as a comprador in a foreign company. He met Li Hongzhang and then engaged in arms business, making a lot of money. In the 29th year of Emperor Guangxu's reign (1903), it was the period of development of the Hebei New District. He bought land in Hebei, starting from Yuanwei Road in the west, Zhouwei Road in the east, Wuma Road in the south, and Xinkai River in the north, covering an area of more than 200 acres, built a house and a private garden. The garden is full of flowers and trees, pavilions and pavilions, and the stream flows around, which is also quite elegant, so it is called Sun's Garden. In the 32nd year of Emperor Guangxu's reign (1906), in order to make friends with the new rich, he sold the garden privately to Cao Kun. Cao Kun, courtesy name Zhongshan, was from Tianjin and sold cloth in his early years. In the eighth year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu (1882), he joined the Xinjian Army as a soldier and was selected to study at the Tianjin Military Academy. After the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895, he attached himself to Yuan Shikai and was promoted to the commander of the Third Army of the Xinjian Army in the 32nd year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu. Cao Kun took a fancy to the Sun Family Garden and bought it from Sun Zhongying with a large sum of money. Since then, "Sun Family Garden" was renamed "Cao Family Garden". After that, Cao Kun relied on his power and used the wealth he had plundered to expand the garden site and built a large number of buildings in the garden.
