"Qiangang Huibai" is also known as Qiangang Huibai Tea and Quangang Huibai. This tea was first created during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty and was listed as a tribute. Its characteristics are: round but not round, with curled flowers, tight and clean, emerald green and frosted; the soup color is bright yellow, the bottom of the leaves is tender yellow, the aroma is strong and refreshing, and the taste is mellow. It flourished in the 1920s and 1930s. At that time, no matter whether Chinese or foreign people got this tea and drank it, most of them praised it and loved it. Therefore, it is famous both at home and abroad and is one of my country's traditional precious green teas. Quangang Huibai, like Pingshuizhu Tea, evolved from ancient Yuezhou tea and Yanxi tea. Since my country began to export tea, the two began to go their separate ways. The former became a famous domestic green tea, and the latter became a famous export green tea. The origin of Quangang Huibai, Quangang Village, is located on the hillside of Fuhuan, a branch of Siming Mountain. It is more than 500 meters above sea level, with mild climate, abundant rainfall, fertile land, dense fog and dew, early sunset, and late morning light. The mountain is shaded by ancient trees and wild beasts appear from time to time. Local farmers describe the geographical situation of Quangang Village as: "Quangang Dalingtou, walking on the nose, clouds and fog around the mountain, tigers crouching on the rock." The superior natural environment provides good conditions for the production of famous tea. Quangang Huibai tea was innovatively developed by Quangang tea farmers on the basis of pearl tea during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty. From the initial self-sufficiency to gifts to relatives and friends, it was widely praised and spread. By 1936, Huibai tea had achieved both production and sales. Some capitalists in Shanghai still used Huibai tea to entertain guests at banquets and gave it to European and American friends. In 1952, a Soviet tea expert praised Quangang Huibai and brought two boxes of Huibai tea back to his country. The production and sales of Quangang Huibai were disrupted during the "-" period, and trial marketing was resumed in 1979. In 1981, it won the provincial famous tea certificate, the gold medal of the China Agricultural Expo in 1995, and the silver medal of Zhejiang Province's high-quality agricultural products in 1998. The registered "Qiangang" Huibai tea was rated as a famous trademark in Zhejiang Province. "Green tea making skills ("Qiangang Huibai" making skills)" was selected into the sixth batch of Shaoxing City's intangible cultural heritage list in November 2015.
