Yifeng Haozi
The labor songs of Yifeng have been handed down from the Ming and Qing Dynasties to the present day, and have been around for more than 400 years. Now there are still a large number of labor songs circulating in Xinchang, Chengtang, Tangpu, Xinzhuang, Qiaoxi and other towns and villages, mainly including "laying workers", "construction", "ramming", "pulling beams", "lifting poles", "pressing oil", "carrying water" songs, etc. Take "ramming" as an example. In the old days, people needed to ram the soil layer when laying foundations, building dams and reinforcing river embankments, so "ramming songs" became an indispensable part of people's lives. Labor songs have the practical role of coordinating and directing labor. They have developed from the initial simple and rhythmic calls to the current song form with lyrics and tunes. Its main singing form is "one leading and many joining", and there are also solo, duet, and chorus. The tunes are mostly repeated and have a strong sense of rhythm. The lyrics are mostly improvisations. The lead singer is the main statement part, and the chorus is mostly the lyrics or the lyrics of the repeated lead singer. Yifeng songs are characterized by flexible and free music, loud and clear melodies, few changes, and strong rhythms. (No pictures available, please provide them.)
