Yifeng Sitting Singing
Yifeng Sitting Singing was formed during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty. Three people beat the tea-picking gongs and drums, and one person sang the tea-picking tune. The form is basically similar to the bench opera. Yifeng Sitting Singing is mainly based on the Ruihe tune, which has been lost and replaced by folk songs and ditties. The main repertoires include: "Bai Tianguan", "Fu Man Tang", "Xing Han Tu", "Cinnabar Mole", "Weishui Visiting Sages", "Tianshui Shouwei" and more than 40 other repertoires. The main folk instruments are: one huqin, one small gong, one gong, one drum, and one cymbal. Yifeng Sitting Singing generally participates in the new house during wedding banquets, which is one of the important contents of the new house. It has the following main characteristics: first, good neighborliness, and second, no ticket sales, no private venues, and no party meetings. When there are weddings and birthdays, wine is prepared to invite them, and they will go as soon as they are invited. They will leave after the fun is over, and no remuneration will be collected; every festival or temple fair, performances are performed to add to the fun. The performance form is purely a cappella opera, without colorful costumes or performances, sitting around the table and singing with the piano. The only remaining songs in Yifeng are the wedding and birthday congratulatory songs, folk songs, and minor tunes, but the opera has been lost. (No pictures yet, please provide them.)
