Bat Mountain is a unique scene in Shidu. It is said that there was only a small hill here a long time ago. One year, the rain was very frequent. As soon as the summer came, there were several heavy rains. The floods flooded and destroyed many villages and fields downstream. Late one night, an old man led his family of three generations to Shidu to beg for food. Everyone in the family was pale and thin. Seeing that the family was very pitiful, the people of Shidu took the initiative to serve them hot meals, and some vacated their houses for them to live in, and sent them clothes and bedding. The old man's family was moved to tears. That night, there were thunder and heavy rain again, and it was endless. The mountain torrents were about to break out, and the lives and property of the villagers were seriously threatened. At midnight, the villagers took the old man's family of 20 to 30 people and moved to the small hill east of the village. Just when they reached the top of the hill, the flood entered the village and surrounded the small hill. The water level kept rising, and the hill was about to be swallowed up. The lives of the refugees were in danger. People suddenly found that the water level was rising and the small hill was also growing upwards. Gradually, the small hill was higher and higher from the water surface, and the people on the hill seemed to be floating in the air, but they felt no fear. After dawn, the flood gradually receded. The refugees, carrying the elderly and children, went down the mountain along the original route. When they reached the edge of the village and looked back, they were surprised to find that it was a black bat that saved them. It turned out that the small hill was the head of the bat. When they arrived in the village, they looked for the black old man and his descendants, but they were gone. It turned out that they had turned into a mountain standing on the earth!
