Daxing Town is located 18 kilometers east of Suyu District. Susi Road and Xingzhang Road run through it. It has convenient transportation, prosperous economy, rich life, civilized society, and an ancient town with a history of more than 1,600 years. Daxing wind and percussion music is represented by the Yin and Bao bands. The two bands are composed of 1,016 people each. The "civil and martial" fields cooperate tacitly during the performance. They play for several hours continuously without feeling tired, and the tunes they play are often new and changed. According to the recollections of the old artists of the Yin family wind and percussion music band, the Yin family wind and percussion music band has been passed down for more than 170 years. After years of development and evolution, Daxing folk wind and percussion music has formed a universal, practical and highly regional performance style. It has pure sound quality, loud timbre, and "full of breath and sound". It has the characteristics of distinct rhythm, roughness and boldness, as well as the characteristics of beautiful rhythm and smooth melody of the northern Jiangsu plain. Among them, the performance of the small hall drum is a major feature of Daxing folk wind and percussion music. The performance methods include single click, double click, staccato, pressing and rolling. In the 1990s, the Daxing band absorbed the advantages of Western percussion music and enriched the connotation of folk wind and percussion music. The instruments of the Daxing folk wind and percussion band mainly include: suona (commonly known as: trumpet), 竽, sheng, flute, gong, hairpin, cymbals, cymbals, small bells, drums, piano, Hu and other instruments. The Yin family band also made a musical instrument called "Baquan". It can simulate various sounds such as human speech, bird singing, dog barking, etc., which adds to the performance effect. The main works include: the traditional "Hundred Birds Paying Homage to the Phoenix", "Sacrificial Songs", "Celebration Music", "Etiquette Songs" and modern pop songs. Some performances are also added to the evening performances, such as folk art: crosstalk, sketches, solo singing, performance singing, etc. The Daxing Band has won the first prize in the folk art competitions organized by the county and district for many times. The folk music "Watching Lanterns" played at the Provincial Cultural and Art Festival in 2004 was unanimously praised by the leaders and audiences of the province and city. The Daxing Wind and Percussion Band often cooperates with the local government to organize celebrations, art performances and cultural activities in the countryside. The Daxing Folk Wind and Percussion Band is a unique folk culture in Suyu District, Suqian City, adding color to the cultural life of the masses in Suqian. The folk wind and percussion music of Daxing Town has gradually developed with the development of the market town and has become a famous local folk wind and percussion music. At present, there are nine wind and percussion bands in Daxing Town, with more than 100 professional wind and percussion performers. They have been active in the vast northern plain of Jiangsu for many years, contributing to urban and rural wedding and funeral celebrations and the active cultural life of the rural masses, and have a certain social influence.
