Nantang Wind and Percussion Music of Lufeng City is a folk ancient music team of Qingxing Class of Nantang Town, Lufeng City. People lived in Nantang Town in the late Ming Dynasty. It is located 36 miles southeast of Lufeng City. There are Jiaxi, Jiazi, Jiadong, Jieshi, Hudong and other towns in the east, west, south and north respectively. Tongluo Lake Farm and Overseas Chinese District are located in the middle. It is a central town with very developed transportation. It is also a distribution center for agricultural and sideline products and a poultry breeding base. The current population is more than 129,000. Nantang Wind and Percussion Music is a precious mass creation passed down from generation to generation by folk old artists. It was passed on to Zheng Wutian by Cai Ci, and then developed and expanded. Later, the "Hailufeng Wind and Percussion Music" was created in the early years of the Republic of China. Nantang Qingxing Class has been preserved until now. It is active in Haifeng County, Lufeng City, Huilai County, Huidong County, Puning City and other places. In these places, there is a large living space, a mass base and tenacious vitality. Nantang Wind and Percussion Music, represented by Nantang Qingxing Troupe, is one of the music of Guangdong Province. It is mainly composed of "songs" played by large and small suona, supplemented by percussion instruments such as gongs, drums, and cymbals, and sometimes supplemented by string music, interspersed with performances such as high-difficulty single blowing or single-person double blowing with porcelain bowls on the head, hands, and legs. The main works include "Tanzai Shu", "Ling Baifo", "Nanke Chan", "Ten Directions Buddha", "Pai Deng", etc. Second, Taoist songs include: "Three Praises", "Lonely Soul Sigh", "Five-Character Gag", "Seven-Character Gag", "Golden Money Flower", "Opening Balcony", "Tianzun Board", "Taking River Soil", "Three Drinks of Wine", etc. Three have the "Xinshuiling" set of "Thirteen Tunes" in Zhengzi Opera, the "Fendieer" set of "Walking on the Battlefield", and the "Drunk Flower Shadow" set of Sanbao. Fourth, the performances of specific scenes include the combination of tunes such as "Sitting on a High Platform", "Marching Soldiers", and "Meeting in a Battle". There are also sets of songs for specific repertoires such as "Xu Yingjie and the Barbarians", "Wutai Mountain", and "Wu Song Killing His Sister-in-law". Fifth, there are also popular folk tunes and ditties such as "Bronze Sword", "June Pass", "Twenty-Four Filial Piety", "Five-Eight Drums", "Hundred Birds", and "Ten Ancient People". It can be used in folk red and white events, and can be a guest performance on the stage of Zhengzi Opera. It can be said to be everywhere and has a great influence and role in the lives of the masses. In recent years, Nantang wind and percussion music has received attention and care from the propaganda and cultural departments of Shanwei City and Lufeng City, and has also received care and support from the local town party committee and government departments. It has been introduced to celebrations for many times. In July 2006, it also represented the Guangdong Provincial Team to Beidaihe, Hebei Province to participate in the 7th National Folk Art Shanhua Award, Folk Art Performance Award, and the National Blowing Song Exhibition and won the "Special Excellence Award" and the honorary title of "Blowing Song King". Domestic music experts, experts from the Guangdong Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and professors who edited the Chinese Instrumental Music Collection visited the site for guidance many times, and music worker Zhuo Rongguang recorded and notated the music, which was included in the "Chinese, National, and Folk Instrumental Music Collection". In May 2007, Nantang Wind and Percussion Music was selected into the second batch of Guangdong Province's intangible cultural heritage list.
