The majestic gongs and drums originated in the Warring States Period and are a major performing arts project in folk cultural festivals. The majestic gongs and drums in Cangxi County are centered in Yunfeng Town and spread to the towns and villages around the county. The "Yunfeng Town Majestic Gongs and Drums" are magnificent and magnificent. The performers include the conductor, flag bearer, drummer, etc., totaling more than 150 people. All the actors are dressed in yellow ancient costumes, with streamers and light veils. The four leading players beat the frame drum with a diameter of 1.5 meters, and the rest of the players play 40 sets of hanging drums (80 cm in diameter), 30 sets of gongs, 30 sets of bowls, and 30 sets of snaps. They can march in formation or be supplemented by neat "encouragement". The flag bearers waved the flags in unison according to the command and shouted from time to time; the performers beat the instruments in unison according to the changing rhythms; the sound of gongs, drums, bowls, snaps, and shouts are shocking, magnificent and spectacular. The "Yunfeng Town Weifeng Gongs and Drums" has participated in the "China Cangxi Pear Blossom Festival" for six consecutive years, and has been highly praised by the central, provincial and municipal leaders.
