🎧  Listen to Introduction

Sankong Li's bone setting originated in 1678 (the 17th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign in the Qing Dynasty) and has been passed down for nine generations. It mainly uses traditional Chinese medicine techniques combined with ancestral bone setting medicines to treat bone diseases through internal and external treatments. Conservative treatment of various fractures and joint dislocations with Chinese medicine bone setting techniques, combined with ancestral secret recipes to treat orthopedic diseases, has a significant effect. Especially for trimalleolar fractures combined with tibiotalar joint dislocation, distal radius comminuted fractures, humeral surgical neck fractures, etc., which all require surgical treatment in the scope of modern medicine, Li's descendants "touch the heart and know the method from the hand", accurately judge the fracture situation, use traction, rotation, folding and other techniques to restore the function of the broken ends, and then strengthen external fixation with splints, and then use the principle of staged medication in combination with ancestral bone setting powder, bone setting pills, early decoctions, etc., which have the effects of bone setting, tendon relaxation and blood circulation, and finally achieve the ideal treatment effect, eliminating the pain of surgical treatment. On May 24, 2021, Traditional Chinese Medicine Bone Setting Therapy (Sankong Li's Bone Setting) was approved by the State Council of the People's Republic of China to be included in the fifth batch of national intangible cultural heritage list, numbered -6.
