The Ye clan of Yanxitang revered Lu Xiufu and two other famous officials and anti-Yuan heroes Wen Tianxiang and Zhang Shijie at the end of the Song Dynasty as the "Three Gentlemen of the Song Dynasty", also known as the "Three Lords of Kowloon". In the late Ming Dynasty, the "Three Lords" were specially enshrined in the temple in Pujiyan, and the "Three Lords Drill in the Water", a folk custom with local characteristics of southern Fujian, was held every year to recreate the scene of Lu Xiufu carrying the young emperor of the Southern Song Dynasty and jumping into the sea. He refused to be a captive and continued to fight the enemy in the water to the end, expressing his respect and remembrance for Lu Xiufu's awe-inspiring national integrity. The "drill in the water" is simple and elegant in form, and the team is spectacular. It has a history of more than 500 years. It has three ridges, two winding left and right hand-waving paths, a three-level worship platform, a golden well, a pair of tombstones, and a doushi in front.
