Every New Year, the clan leader discusses with the clan members and plans how to sing this year's god song well to wish for good weather and good health for the clan members. The god song hall is generally set up in the ancestral hall. A blazing fire is burning in the hall of the ancestral hall, and the hall is decorated with statues of gods and tablets of ancestors. On the left side of the hall sits the main team singers selected by the clan members, and on the right side of the hall sits the guest team singers invited, and above both sides are accompaniments. The accompaniment instruments are very simple, only big drums and big gongs. After singing a sentence, the gongs and drums are played as a transition. The lyrics of the god song are fixed words and phrases except for the "God Song Head" and "Ten Blessings", and the rest are improvised. God songs are generally divided into three parts, namely, inviting gods (God Song Head), God Song (theme song), and asking gods. Inviting gods. The God Song Head varies from place to place. The old Huancheng one is: "Fuxi opened the chaos, Pangu became the emperor of heaven and earth. Youchao Suiren succeeded, and the fairy Nuwa who repaired the sky came to accompany the dragon case tonight. Please invite all the singers. Cut the words in homophonic and rhythmic steps, and you must wash your ears and listen carefully. Open your silver teeth and golden mouths, and chant the white snow. "The God Song Head is only chanted without singing. After reciting two sentences, a drum is beaten, a gong is struck, and the next two sentences are recited. After chanting, the theme song will begin. God song. The theme song is usually started by the main team, and they first sing "Invite the Singer". If the leader of the visiting team is surnamed Fang, they can chant like this: "I beg you to come to Henan (Henan is the name of the county surnamed Fang), and I will talk to you. I know you are a great singer, and you can sing about the ancients and the world." Here, the rhyme of the host team is "guest, heart, and love", and the visiting team should sing along with the rhyme. They can also chant like this: "You are a wise guest in the hall, with beautiful articles and beautiful hearts. Elegant poets have many wonderful words, and I am ashamed that I can't repay your love." After a rhyme comes out, sometimes hundreds of poems need to be sung along. The host team does not change, and the visiting team cannot change it actively. If there is really nothing to sing, you can turn the rhyme, that is, take the homophonic rhyme and continue to chant. Commonly used rhymes include "lai, cai, kai", "ge, he, duo", "wang, tang, zhang", etc. For example: "A sound of firecrackers ushered in spring, and harmony between heaven, earth and people was everywhere. I am even more happy that the willows on the street are green, and the flowers and trees facing the sun are blooming early." The rhyme can also be determined temporarily. After singing until 12 o'clock, the host will treat the guests to supper. After supper, the guest team will start the rhyme, usually singing "home, tea, flowers" to thank the host. Then they will sing the ancients, usually using rhymes such as "high, heroic, sword", "pass, mountain, difficult", "poetry, book, lyrics", "lord, voice, literature", etc. Sometimes they will sing 1 snow and moon. When the god song is sung until the second half of the night, there will usually be a small upsurge. Sometimes the two teams compete in writing, requiring strict rules for singing, full of flat and full of oblique tones. From now on, you will be on the golden list as soon as possible to protect the country. Ten wishes are perfect and auspicious, and every family is happy. As the years go by, people live longer, and spring fills the world with blessings. A good chapter is played to the heavens, and the Jade Emperor is delighted to receive it. Nanyang is happy that people live longer, and wealth and glory will last for generations."
