Nanguan Village is under the jurisdiction of Luofa Town. It is adjacent to Wuqing District of Tianjin City in the east and 4 kilometers away from Langbo Road in the west. The transportation is very convenient. Nanguan Shaolin Wushu Association was founded during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty and has a history of more than 300 years. At that time, in order to resist foreign invasion, protect the homeland and strengthen the physique, a man named - in the village integrated Shaolin Wushu with folk customs to form a systematic training method, which became a folk flower fair with wide influence and has been passed down for seven generations. During the invasion of China by the Eight-Power Allied Forces, Nanguan Shaolin Wushu Association participated in the famous Boxer Rebellion in Langfang as a folk patriotic organization. Nanguan Shaolin Wushu Association integrates the dual cultural connotations of traditional Chinese martial arts and folk flower fairs, and is of great value in martial arts and folklore. However, due to the advanced age or passing away of some veteran artists in recent years, some of the more difficult kung fu and technical skills have no one to teach; in addition, there is a lack of financial investment, the actors lack technical training, and the performance levels are uneven, which seriously restricts the development of the Nanguan Shaolin Martial Arts Association and puts it at risk of being lost.
