Shicheng Inkstone Making Technique (Second Batch Provincial Level) Jiangxi was famous for its rich natural colors and unique patterns as early as the Northern Song Dynasty. Zeng Xingren of the Qing Dynasty praised it as "Flower Core Stone" in "Inkstone Research". Because it was produced in Huangshi Mountain in Longgang Township, Shicheng County, Jiangxi Province, it was also called "Huangshi". Shicheng Inkstone was created in the Northern Song Dynasty and lost in the Qing Dynasty. It was not until the winter of 1991 that Lai Delian, vice chairman of the Shicheng County Federation of Literary and Art Circles and owner of Longyanzhai, excavated the making technique and later Jiang Huaji, owner of Chiyantang, produced it. One is called Jiangxi Shicheng Inkstone and the other is called Shicheng Natural Stone Painting Inkstone. Shicheng Inkstone is hidden in the deep stream, warm and smooth like jade, with rich stone products, colorful stone colors, peculiar stone patterns like paintings, and clear stone paintings like paintings. Shicheng Inkstone can be compared with Duan Inkstone and She Inkstone in terms of stone quality, and is stronger than others in terms of stone color and patterns.
