Miao folk oral literature Paihua is a kind of folk oral literature sung by the Miao people in Longsheng in Miao language. It is a rhyme style evolved from speaking "vernacular". Its basic tone is similar to that of the Han people singing ancient people, but from the content point of view, it is not entirely singing ancient people. It has richer content, freer structure, more unified melody, and rhyme rhyme in large sections, sometimes two sentences have one rhyme. No matter how many sentences there are, when singing the last word of the second sentence, a filler word "嗯呢" (Chinese for "你呢") must be added, which makes people feel cordial and emotional after listening. Paihua activities are usually carried out in the main hall or kitchen. Most of the singers are over 50 years old. The middle-aged and young people like to listen the most, and sometimes they also learn to sing along. As long as they are free, the old people can gather together to sing, one song after another. Flower talk is a kind of logical talk used by young men and women of the Miao nationality to communicate their feelings. From its content, it is basically the "love talk" of young men and women talking about love, such as meeting, making friends, and courting. Flower talk is similar to love songs in content, but the structure is different. Flower talk does not pay attention to rhythm, is not accompanied by tunes, and is only spoken but not sung. It has no fixed sentences or structure. A few short sentences can express emotions, and hundreds of sentences can also be long. Although it does not adopt the singing method and has a free form, it is also as rhymed as possible and has a sense of rhythm. The location and time of flower talk activities are particularly particular. It usually appears in occasions such as slack farming, weddings, funerals, banquets, and so on. No matter which occasion flower talk is spoken, both parties are very close to each other and can clearly hear each other's language. And both parties must abide by the rules, the language must be implicit, and vulgarity is not allowed, otherwise they will be spurned by the other party. Miao folk traditional entertainment activities and folk customs refer to folk traditional cultural and entertainment activities. It mainly includes oral language folk customs, folk song and dance folk customs, game competition folk customs, etc. The most popular folk songs of the Miao ethnic group are folk songs with seven words and four sentences. When Miao children are 7 or 8 years old, their parents teach them to sing folk songs. In the Miao area, almost everyone can sing. People sing when they go out to see the sky and ask for directions, greet people, ask people to sit down, drink tea, drink wine, do production work, talk about love, get married, and attend weddings and funerals.
