🎧  Listen to Introduction

Luxinhe Shaolin Changquan was founded by Liu Xing'an in the first year of the Xuantong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1909), and has been passed down for a hundred years. During the Guangxu period, the young man Liu Xing'an witnessed the rampant foreign invaders on Chinese soil. He wanted to help the injustice, but he was powerless, so he had to give up in anger and determined to learn martial arts. So he went to Songshan Shaolin Temple, and after nearly 10 years of hard training, he mastered a good set of boxing and kicking. After coming down the mountain in 1904, he worked as a guard and bodyguard in Tianjin's foreign money market, and established his own school. He was not only good at kung fu, but also had a good character and profound attainments in martial arts, and was well-known in Tianjin. In the first year of the Xuantong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1909), he came to Luxinhe to directly teach a complete set of "Shaolin Changquan" learned from the Shaolin Temple in Songshan, and established the Luxinhe "Xing'an Martial Arts Club" named after him, which roughly means "promoting Chinese martial arts to ensure peace in one area". Young people in the village actively practiced martial arts, and he accepted 14 disciples. The disciples practiced hard and their martial arts continued to improve. Liu Changkui, Rong Enhui and other descendants passed it on to future generations orally and came to the martial arts club every day for sparring. They were strict with young people and warned them to learn etiquette before learning skills, to set an example of being a person, to strictly demand themselves, not to have bad behavior, to be willing to endure hardships, and to insist on "training in the coldest days of winter and the hottest days of summer". After years of hard work, the Shaolin Changquan martial arts team gradually became large. During the period of the domestic revolutionary war and land reform, they cooperated with various teams and made important contributions to protecting the safety of the village. The Shaolin Changquan series has experienced ups and downs in the inheritance of nearly a hundred years. After liberation, especially in the era of reform and opening up, the skills of the Changquan series have made great progress, and have a good reputation in the village, and have cultivated many talents. At the same time, it also promotes the villagers to strengthen their bodies and promotes the economic development of the village. The Shaolin Changquan series includes 1. Crazy Fist: unpredictable changes, uncertain attack points, fast as lightning, and difficult for opponents to defend. 2. Eight Diagrams Fist: attack-oriented, combined with attack and defense routines. 3. Six Gods Changquan: combination of hand and eye, waist and leg, heart and qi. 4. Four-door Changquan: single-bound hand, double-bound hand, support and sliding leg, small hook. 5. Thirteen styles of Changquan. The weapon routines include 1. Duanmen: the momentum of ten thousand men not being able to open, not leaving the door, thousands of miles of flowers, its momentum is unpredictable. 2. Swordsmanship: the sword is like the wind, the shape is like electricity, the beauty is like the posture of a lady, and the spirit is like a heroine. 3. Chain Knife: Steady trend, like a wind, one knife after another, no knife is inferior to the enemy. 4. Single Knife: Single Knife in hand, flexible waist and legs, protect the head above and the body below. 5. Double Knife: Double Knife out, hand, eye, body, footwork, fast as the wind, the enemy can hardly get close to the body. 6. Spring and Autumn Knife: Spring and Autumn Monthly History is famous, every move is powerful and ghosts and gods are shocked, the heroic spirit is still there, and warm wine kills Hua Xiong again. Luxinhe Shaolin Changquan has been passed down to six generations, the first generation inheritor Liu Xing'an (1881-1954), the second generation inheritor Liu Changkui (1893-1978), the third generation inheritor Rong Enhui (1913-2008), the fourth generation inheritor Wang Shoude (1935 to present), the fifth generation inheritor Rong Enhe (1955 to present), the sixth generation inheritor Tang Guangbao (1990 to present). Over the past 100 years, with the joint efforts of teachers and apprentices, on the basis of inheriting traditional skills, martial arts equipment that matches Shaolin Changquan has been added, and the essence of many martial arts schools has been absorbed and enriched into the project. In addition, many martial arts projects such as South Lion, North Lion and Wenqiao Club have been created to attract more young people to participate in the practice activities. In December 2001, in order to commemorate the founder Liu Xing'an, the "Xing'an Martial Arts Society" was renamed "Luxinhe Zhenxing Martial Arts Sports Hall", which means to revive the martial arts spirit of the founder Liu Xing'an. Luxinhe Village Zhenxing Martial Arts Sports Hall has established a strict management system and invited famous teachers to provide guidance. The Shaolin Changquan thirteen-style series has been organized into a picture album (teaching material), breaking the traditional teaching model of oral transmission and heart-to-heart teaching. Each stage of the training is carried out according to the training plan of the proposed implementation plan. In addition to reporting performances to villagers during the New Year, it also participates in events organized by the city, district and town. With the support of the competent departments at all levels, Zhenxing Martial Arts Sports Hall has achieved certain results and long-term development, playing an important role in the construction of two civilizations in villages and towns.
