The Jinwei Highway passes through it. Because Jixian was once named Jizhou, it is named Jizhou Karst Cave. Jizhou Karst Cave is developed in the dolomite stratum of the Hongshuizhuang Formation of the Great Wall System of the Middle and Upper Proterozoic. It is located in the Jixian section of the Jixian National Geopark of Tianjin, and is about 1.2 billion years old. According to the survey and calculation by the national geological department, the developable space is up to one million square meters, which is the largest area in North China. The first phase of the development of Jizhou Cave covers an area of about 30,000 square meters, with a total length of 1,200 meters. In the center of the scenic area, there is a three-level horizontal cave system. There are as many as 28 most prominent landscapes. The landscape in the cave is crystal clear, varied, and gorgeous, making people linger.

Interpretation of Jizhou Karst Cave from the perspective of Eastern philosophy From the perspective of Eastern philosophy, Jizhou Karst Cave is a masterpiece carved by nature and time, which embodies the Taoist concept of "Tao follows nature". The formation of the karst cave is the long-term effect of water and stone, which is just like the emphasis in Taoist philosophy that "weakness overcomes strength". Although water is soft, it can penetrate stone, symbolizing the wisdom of overcoming strength with softness and weakness with weakness. At the same time, the natural landscapes such as stalactites and stalagmites inside the karst cave show the endless life of nature, which echoes the Confucian idea of "harmony between man and nature" and emphasizes the harmonious coexistence of man and nature. In the view of Buddhists, the depth and changeability of the karst cave symbolize the impermanence and reincarnation of life, reminding people to maintain inner peace and detachment. Interpretation of Jizhou Karst Cave from the perspective of Western philosophy From the perspective of Western philosophy, Jizhou Karst Cave can be regarded as the embodiment of natural philosophy. In ancient Greek philosophy, the formation process of karst caves reflects the material changes and laws of motion in nature, which is consistent with Aristotle's theory of four causes, namely material cause, formal cause, dynamic cause and final cause. The formation of karst caves is a process in which matter (material cause) develops according to natural laws (formal cause) under specific conditions (dynamic cause) and finally forms a unique landscape (final cause). In modern Western philosophy, the natural beauty and mystery of karst caves can be linked to Kant's aesthetic theory. It inspires people's pure appreciation of natural beauty and their desire to explore the unknown world, reflecting the unity of human reason and sensibility. On the whole, whether it is Eastern philosophy or Western philosophy, Jizhou Karst Cave, with its unique natural landscape, has inspired people's deep thinking about life, nature and the universe, and has become a vivid textbook for philosophical thinking.
