Bian Que Temple, also known as Bian Que Shrine, is located at the foot of Que Mountain, 26 kilometers west of Neiqiu County. It is an ancient building complex for worshiping and paying homage to Bian Que, the ancestor of Chinese medicine. There were originally 27 single buildings, and 13 of them are still there, including Huisheng Bridge, Mountain Gate, Bian Que Hall, Hou Tu Zongsi Hall, and Jade Emperor Hall. It covers an area of 150,000 square meters and is the largest and oldest Bian Que Temple complex in my country. It was rated as an A-level tourist area by the National Tourism Administration in 2003 and was announced as a national key cultural relic protection unit by the State Council in 2006.

Interpretation from the perspective of Eastern philosophy: Neiqiu Bian Que Temple Scenic Area In Eastern philosophy, especially Chinese philosophy, the Bian Que Temple Scenic Area carries profound cultural and philosophical significance. Bian Que, as a famous medical scientist in ancient China, was known as a "miracle doctor" for his superb medical skills. From the perspective of Eastern philosophy, Bian Que's medical skills are not only the skills of treating diseases, but also a profound understanding of the essence of life. Bian Que emphasized "preventive treatment", that is, prevention before the disease occurs, which is consistent with the Taoist philosophy of "ruling by inaction" and the Confucian philosophy of "the doctrine of the mean", reflecting the wisdom of "preventing trouble before it happens" in Eastern philosophy. The existence of the Bian Que Temple Scenic Area is not only a commemoration of Bian Que's medical skills, but also a manifestation of the "unity of man and nature" thought in Eastern philosophy, emphasizing the harmonious coexistence of man and nature, and man and society. Interpretation from the perspective of Western philosophy: Neiqiu Bian Que Temple Scenic Area From the perspective of Western philosophy, the Bian Que Temple Scenic Area can be interpreted as a celebration of human rationality and knowledge. Western philosophy, especially since ancient Greece, emphasizes rational thinking and scientific methods. From the perspective of Western philosophy, Bian Que's medical achievements are a model of the application of human rationality in the field of medicine. Through observation, diagnosis and treatment, Bian Que demonstrated human exploration and understanding of natural laws. The existence of the Bian Que Temple Scenic Area can be regarded as a symbol of human rational pursuit and knowledge inheritance. At the same time, Bian Que's medical practice also reflects the idea of "practice is the only criterion for testing truth" in Western philosophy, that is, to verify the correctness of the theory through practice. In summary, whether from the perspective of Eastern philosophy or Western philosophy, the Neiqiu Bian Que Temple Scenic Area carries profound cultural and philosophical significance and is a manifestation of human wisdom and spiritual pursuit.
