Historic Monuments and Sites in Kaesong
Located in the southern Korean city of Kaesong, the site consists of 12 separate parts that together bear witness to the history and culture of the Goryeo Dynasty from the 10th to the 14th century. The geomantic layout of the former capital of Kaesong, its palaces, institutions and mausoleum complexes, defensive walls and gates embody the political, cultural, philosophical and spiritual values of a pivotal era in the region's history. The inscribed monuments also include an astronomical and meteorological observatory, two schools (one of which was dedicated to training state officials) and memorials. The site bears witness to East Asia's transition from Buddhism to Neo-Confucianism, and the assimilation of cultural ethos and political values from the various countries that preceded the unification of the Goryeo Dynasty. The fusion of Buddhist, Confucian, Taoist and geomantic concepts is reflected in the planning of the site and the architecture of the monuments.
Chaîne des Puys - Limagne fault tectonic arena
Located in central France, the site includes the long Limagne Fault, the Chaîne des Puys volcanic complex and the inverted relief of the Montagne de la Serre. It is an iconic part of the Western European Rift, which was formed 35 million years ago after the formation of the Alps. The geological features of the site show how the continental crust can crack and then collapse, causing deep magma to rise and cause surface uplift. The site is an exceptional example of continental breakup (or rifting), one of the five main stages of plate tectonics.

China Xingtai Jiulongxia Natural Scenic Tourism Area is a national AAAA-level scenic area, a national geological park, a national agricultural tourism demonstration site, a scenic spot in Hebei Province, a service standardization scenic spot in Hebei Province, and a trustworthy tourism scenic spot in Hebei Province. The scenic area is located in Jiangshui Town, Xingtai County, Hebei Province, on the eastern foot of the middle section of Taihang Mountain. The total planned area is 64 square kilometers. It is 62 kilometers east of Xingtai City, bordering Shanxi Province in the west, Handan in the south, and 160 kilometers north of Shijiazhuang City. It has convenient transportation and good accessibility for tourists. Jiulongxia Natural Scenic Tourism Area has China's largest wild peach growth distribution center, the largest red sandstone canyon cluster in North China, and the waterfall cluster with the largest drop and the most concentrated community in North China; it is the seat of the ancient Xiang State and the origin of the Zhao State. There are hundreds of scenic spots distributed in the scenic area. The forest coverage rate in the scenic area is 78%, and the vegetation coverage rate is 98.5%. There are abundant products here, mainly chestnuts, apples, persimmons, walnuts, hawthorns, etc. Hundreds of wild Chinese medicinal herbs such as Polygonum multiflorum and Scutellaria baicalensis grow in the scenic area. The beautiful natural scenery of Jiulong Gorge constitutes a series of magnificent, unique and charming three-dimensional pictures. The scenery changes with each step and season. Tianti Mountain
Tianti Mountain Scenic Area is located in Niuzhuang, Xidong, Xingtai City, 22 kilometers away from the city center, covering an area of 18 square kilometers. Bus No. 7 goes directly to the scenic area, and the transportation is very convenient. The mountains here are abrupt, majestic and steep, with more than a thousand stone steps going straight up to the sky; there are ancient caves on the mountainside, caves connected to caves, caves within caves, twists and turns, deep and unpredictable; the caves are full of stone flowers, stone waterfalls, stalactites, people and animals, all kinds of strange, dazzling; at the foot of the mountain, there is the dark and golden water cave, boating in the cave, the lights and the sound of the oars, like entering a fairyland. Visitors climb to the top of Changshou Peak, but see the mountains surrounding it, the villages are clear, the fields are beautiful, and the Kawaguchi Lake is vast and misty, which is refreshing. In the western part of the scenic area, Lengfeng Cave is unparalleled in the world, the walls of Baojian Gorge are like knives, and the Heilongtan is cold and green, with another kind of wild fun. What is particularly rare is that this is the anti-Jin place of Niu Gao, a famous anti-Jin general in the Song Dynasty. General Niu once relied on the mountains and dangers here to lead the people to fight against the Jin. The remains still exist on the mountainside. Tianti Mountain is currently a national AAA-level scenic spot and part of the Xingtai Canyon Group National Geopark.
Baiyun Ancient Cave
Baiyun Ancient Cave, also known as Baiyun Canyon and Chaoyang Cave, is located in Fengning Manchu Autonomous County, Chengde City. In the scenic area, there are Baohua Temple, Taoist Temple Qingyun Temple, and Yinxian Temple. The scenic area is surrounded by steep peaks and there is no path to enter or exit except a natural mountain gate. There are caves in the canyon, and the caves are connected. There are three relatively concentrated cave groups: Baiyun Ancient Cave Group, Babao Cave Group, and Haha Cave Group. Baiyun Cave has the largest area of about 600 square meters. There is a monk temple, and there are stupa forests and inscriptions outside the cave. Haha Cave Scenic Area is the highest, overlooking the Chaohe River outside the mountain, the countryside and farmhouses are connected, the mountains are stacked, and the weather is magnificent.
