Bangchui Peak Forest Park

Bangchui Peak Forest Park is commonly known as Bangchui Mountain, and was called Shiting in ancient times. It is located on the top of a mountain on the east bank of Wulie River in the northeast of Hebei City. It stands on a high mountain hill about ten miles east of Bishu Mountain Villa, about 2.5 kilometers away from the city. It is suspended by a cliff below and connected to the blue sky above. The situation is extremely dangerous. The peak is thick at the top and thin at the bottom, shaped like a club. It is 596 meters above sea level, with a diameter of 10.7 meters at the bottom and 15.04 meters at the top. It is 38.29 meters high. Together with the protruding base under the club, it is 60 meters high. There is a mulberry tree halfway up the club, named Mengsang (also known as Yasang), which is 3 meters high and about 30 centimeters in diameter. It has about 300 annual rings and bears white mulberries that are fat and large. For 300 years, Shifeng and Mengsang have been dependent on each other. Mengsang relies on Shifeng for survival, and Shifeng is interesting because of Mengsang.

Guyaju Primitive Tribe Tourist Resort

Ancient cliff dwellings were caves dug on steep cliffs by an unknown group of ancestors. There are 147 stone chambers preserved here, divided into three parts: front, middle and back, hanging on a cliff of about 100,000 square meters. The stone chambers are either facing each other or adjacent to each other, high or low, scattered and well-arranged. The stone chambers are either rectangular or square, the large ones are about 20 square meters, and the small ones are about 3 to 4 square meters. Some are single rooms, and some are connected by 2 to 3 rooms; some suites are parallel, and some are two-story. All the stone chambers are distributed in layers, and there are stone steps, stone ladders and plank roads between the layers. These stone chambers have complete living facilities such as doors, windows, kangs, stoves, mangers, closets, flues, and storage rooms. The windows are generally 2 to 3 square feet, and the doors are large and small. Some can be entered and exited freely, and some can only be climbed in; symmetrical axis holes are chiseled on the top, bottom, left and right of the doors and windows. There are often water chutes chiseled on the front eaves, and the chutes go directly into the room, which may be used to collect water. These stone chambers have different functions. Those with kangs seem to be for living, those with horse troughs seem to be for raising horses, and those with kitchen stoves seem to be kitchens. There are also two types of stone kangs. One is a kang platform carved on granite with no smokeway at the bottom, and the other is a curved road with a back dragon style, on which stone slabs or adobe can be laid. A stone stove is carved on the side of the stone kang, and there is a smokeway under the stove that leads to the kang. It winds around for a few circles and leads to the outside of the stone chamber through a hole in the wall. It looks like a fire kang, and its width can sleep two people. One of the stone chambers is a typical "three-bedroom" layout. The middle room is larger and has a door, which is considered the main room. The room on the right is the kitchen, which has a stone stove and smokeway, which is considered the kitchen, and the room on the left has a closet. The "official hall" is a representative of many stone chambers. It is located in the middle of the mountain beam and is similar to an ancient palace. It is not only tall and spacious, but also has excellent lighting conditions and fine carvings. There are 4 stone pillars in the stone chamber to support the cave ceiling. In the middle of the 4 pillars is a wide Buddhist niche, and 2 small rooms with kangs are carved symmetrically on both sides. The stone chamber of Guyaju has a complex structure and ingenious design. There is no exact record of its excavation age, history, background and purpose in historical books, and it remains a mystery to this day, with experts having different opinions.

Jingdong Grand Canyon Tourist Area

Jingdong Grand Canyon Tourist Area is located 10 kilometers northeast of Pinggu District, Beijing. It consists of two major tourist areas, the Grand Canyon and Jingtai Mountain. The Grand Canyon is six miles deep and covers a total area of 20 square kilometers. The Grand Canyon is narrow, dangerous and deep, with towering walls. Jingtai Mountain is flat and wide like a platform, towering into the clouds. There is a couplet praising it: "Explore the canyon to feel the mysterious and quiet, and climb the peak to see thousands of mountains and valleys." There are five wonders in the Grand Canyon: one is the waterfall that falls straight down. There is a waterfall more than 30 meters high, which falls straight down, which is amazing, and its sound roars in the valley; the second is the cliff that is thousands of feet high. The high cliffs in the valley are like walls, piercing the blue sky. Walking under them, you will doubt that they are about to fall and fall, and your heart will palpitate and be terrified; the third is the Mingtan Lianzhu. There are five pools in the valley, some of which are clear and fish-watching, some are unfathomable, some are as quiet as a virgin, and some are rushing and rushing, forming a string, adding endless aura to the Grand Canyon; the fourth is the plank road hanging in the air. The Grand Canyon is narrow and winding, steep and dangerous. The plank road is suspended in the air. Walking on it, you will feel the danger of the canyon and add boundless interest. The fifth day is the clear lake. Longmen Lake is 40,000 square meters. The peaks are reflected in the water, and gulls and ducks live on the water. It is another different scene. Visitors play in the water, go boating and fishing, which is a good feeling of retreat. The Jingdong Grand Canyon Tourist Area has different scenery in four seasons. In spring, the mountain flowers are in full bloom and hundreds of birds are singing; in summer, the breeze is warm and refreshing; in autumn, the mountains are red and the forests are dyed; in winter, the ice is high and the silver is covered. What you see, hear and feel in the four seasons is very different, and each is wonderful. This place has deep valleys, dangerous cliffs, strange rocks and strange pools. It is an ideal place for young and middle-aged people to go on wild adventures.
