Muskauer Park / Park Mużakowski

This 559.9-hectare landscape park, straddling the Neisse River and the Polish-German border, was built between 1815 and 1844 by Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau. Blending seamlessly with the surrounding farmland landscape, the park pioneered a new approach to landscape design that influenced the development of landscape architecture in Europe and the United States. Designed as a "botanical painting," it does not attempt to evoke a classical landscape, a paradise, or some lost perfection, but rather uses local plants to enhance the inherent qualities of the existing landscape. This integrated landscape extends into the town of Muskau, where green corridors form urban parks and demarcate boundaries for development areas. The town thus becomes a designed component of a utopian landscape. The site also features a reconstructed castle, bridges, and a botanical garden.

Central Sector of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long - Hanoi

The Imperial Citadel of Thang Long was built in the 11th century by the Ly Viet Dynasty to mark the independence of Dai Viet. It was built on the site of a 7th century Chinese fortress on reclaimed land in the Red River delta near Hanoi. It was the regional centre of political power for 13 consecutive centuries. The remains of the Imperial Citadel architecture and the 18th Hoang Dieu archaeological site reflect the Southeast Asian culture that is unique to the lower Red River valley. The influences of China to the north and the ancient Champa Kingdom to the south meet here.

Golestan Palace

The ornate Golestan Palace is a masterpiece of the Qajar dynasty, reflecting a successful fusion of early Persian craftsmanship and architecture with Western influences. One of the oldest complexes in Tehran, this walled palace became the seat of government for the Qajar family, who came to power in 1779 and established Tehran as Iran's capital. Built around a garden with pools and green areas, the palace's most distinctive decorations and rich ornamentation date from the 19th century. It became a center of Qajar art and architecture, an outstanding example of it, and remains a source of inspiration for Iranian artists and architects to this day. It represents a new style that combines elements of traditional Persian art and crafts with 18th-century architecture and technology.
