Aphrodisias
Located in southwestern Turkey, in the upper Molsynus River valley, the site consists of two parts: the archaeological site of Aphrodisias and the marble quarries northeast of the city. The Temple of Aphrodite was built in the 3rd century BC, and the city was founded a century later. Aphrodisias' wealth came from the marble quarries and the artworks created by its sculptors. The city streets were organized around several large civic buildings, which included temples, a theater, an agora, and two baths.
Fort and Shalamar Gardens in Lahore
These two are masterpieces of the glorious Mughal civilization period, which reached its peak during the reign of Emperor Shah Jahan. The fort contains marble palaces and mosques, decorated with mosaics and gilding. Baiyangyu Great Wall
Baiyangyu is also known as Baiyang Pass. Baiyang Pass is famous for its majesty, and Lengkou is also known for its danger. Together, they are called "the majestic pass and dangerous pass". Baiyangyu Pass has Baiyang River flowing from north to south. The original pass was across the Baiyang River, connected to the Great Wall at both ends, called Baiyang Water Pass and Yanggu Pass. There are various passes in the Great Wall, but there are not many water passes, and even fewer are still in existence. Baiyang Water Pass is the source of the Baiyang River. The river channel of more than 500 meters above and below the water pass is full of sweet springs, making it a veritable water pass. Baiyang Water Pass is a double-channel water city, and the foundation of the enemy tower facing the water on the east bank still exists. Such a water pass in the Great Wall is unique to Baiyangyu. After reconstruction, Baiyang Water Pass will become the "best water pass in the Great Wall". Baiyangyu Tourist Area is located in Dacuizhuang Town, Qian'an City. The Baiyangyu Great Wall in the scenic area was built by the State of Yan during the Warring States Period and was repaired and reinforced during the Ming Dynasty. It has 21 towers and a well-preserved Great Wall of 4,552 meters. The marble Great Wall here is about 1.5 kilometers long, 10 meters high and 5 meters wide. The foundations of the enemy towers at the bottom of the city are mostly marble. The Wanli Pass is very rare and is the essence of the Great Wall.
Hongyu Villa Great Wall Cave Scenic Area
Hongyu Villa Scenic Area is located in Hongyukou Village, Wuchong'an Township, Qian'an City. It is a national 3A-level tourist area. It is a place with the marble Great Wall as the support, the golden cave as the axis, and the mountains, forests, waterfalls, Qijian Peak, temples, ancient plant fossils, etc. (the area is rich in carbonaceous shale, oil shale, gold veins and manganese iron ore) natural landscapes to form a complete series of Great Wall cave tourism products. There are more than 20 scenic spots in the scenic area, including the golden cave, Yunya Lake, Yunya Temple, the turtle exploring the sea, the water gate Great Wall, Tongtian Waterfall, the two-faced Buddha, the Yangtian Buddha, the marble Great Wall, Qijian Peak, the general hat, Yunya Village, etc. The little-known marble Great Wall runs across the scenic area. The mountains and rivers here are beautiful and the scenery is pleasant. It is a treasure land for people to exercise and relax. The unique golden cave is more than 10,000 meters long and has a total area of more than 50,000 square meters. There are clear gold veins of varying thickness and a large area of ancient plant fossils on the cave wall. In the cave, there are stalactites of various shapes and colors, such as stalagmites, stone pillars, stone flowers, stone shields, stone flags, stone curtains, etc., which resemble human figures, birds and beasts, and all kinds of emotions and things in the world; there are also countless jagged stone pillars, which look like gods, immortals, and like a gathering of thousands of Buddhas, forming a dreamlike magical world.
