Tibetan Thangka (Tianzhu Thangka), a traditional art. Deep in the grasslands of Tianzhu County, Wuwei City, Gansu Province, in a Tibetan tribe with snow and mountains as the background, the Tibetan-style buildings, which are as simple, ancient and mysterious as copper, contain the wisdom, hard work and aspirations of countless people in Tibet, and have become the most spiritual and mysterious precious wealth of the Tibetan people and all mankind. Thangka, as a unique painting art form in Tibetan culture, has supported half of the spread of Tibetan culture. Thangka is not only an intangible cultural heritage of China, but also an integral part of Tibetan culture and the splendid culture of the Chinese nation. It is also a cultural element and cultural symbol of the Chinese nation. On May 24, 2021, the Tibetan Thangka (Tianzhu Thangka) declared by the Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous Region of Wuwei City, Gansu Province was approved by the State Council to be included in the extended list of representative items of the national intangible cultural heritage, with the heritage number: VII-14.
