With the help of the chefs from the imperial kitchen of the Qing Dynasty, the Tingli Pavilion in the Summer Palace, based on the menu of birthday banquets, excavated and restored the preparation techniques of the "Longevity Banquet", which was the birthday banquet for the emperors and empresses of the Qing Dynasty and one of the grand banquets in the inner court. Tingli Pavilion has always been mainly used to receive dignitaries and guests from home and abroad. More than 100 dignitaries from home and abroad have dined here, and more than 200 government delegations have been received. It not only maintains the essence of traditional Chinese cuisine, but also embodies the profound cultural connotation of respecting and being filial to the elderly.
