Pubei Shenxiong Wine is a health wine originated in Xiaojiang Town, Pubei County, Qinzhou. It uses local high-quality late-maturing rice and homemade wine koji as raw materials, and is matched with Guangxi wild black ants, geckos, longan meat, wolfberries and other animal and plant medicinal materials. It uses traditional Xiaoqu fermented high-quality rice wine as the base, and is matched with high-quality Liuwanshan underground spring water. It is brewed using the original "traditional Shenxiong wine soaking and brewing method". The traditional Shenxiong wine soaking and brewing process is divided into two parts: brewing base and soaking wine. There are 5 steps for brewing base and 7 steps for soaking wine. The wine base is selected from local high-quality late-maturing rice and homemade wine koji. The traditional process is to steam and cook rice in a small pot. After the steamed rice is saccharified, it is sealed and fermented for 7 to 10 days. After the fermentation is completed, high-temperature distillation is performed to extract the wine base. The main process of soaking wine is the processing of medicinal materials. Medicinal materials such as big black ants and geckos are classified, washed, sliced, dried and fried. Black ants, in particular, are steamed at high temperature to remove formic acid and then dried, and then soaked in traditional ceramic jars.
