Chaoyang Yingge Dance is a Han folk square emotional group dance, which originated from Nuo culture and gradually evolved into the Ming Dynasty by absorbing the northern drum yangge. Dancers are all dressed up like Liangshan heroes from facial makeup to clothing. They hold wooden sticks in their hands and hit each other, accompanied by gongs, drums and horns, and shout to dance. It combines drama, dance and martial arts, and is extremely masculine.
