Recently, several folk artists from Jiacang Village, Kuishan Street, Rizhao Economic Development Zone, are performing Jiacang wind and percussion music to welcome the Lantern Festival. Jiacang wind and percussion music originated in the Xuantong period of the late Qing Dynasty, about 100 years ago. It is the main traditional entertainment project for local fishermen in their spare time and was once popular. With the continuous advancement of new rural construction, the wealthy fishermen in Jiacang Village have organized themselves to discover and organize unique traditional wind and percussion music, adding a happy and peaceful atmosphere to the new rural life. At present, Jiacang wind and percussion music has been listed as the first batch of intangible cultural heritage by the municipal government (no pictures yet, welcome to provide.)
