Anshan Pingshu
Anshan Pingshu is a traditional storytelling art. Pingshu is a cultural deposit in Anshan. Anshan Pingshu is based on Mandarin and has the artistic characteristics of boldness, tightness, movement and passion. The language is colloquial, and the style is bold, simple, warm and bright. It is closely integrated with the local people's daily language. It is melodious, fascinating and imaginative. One person, one table, one chair, one fan, one wake-up stick and one handkerchief have strong expressiveness and high educational, literary and entertainment value. In the 1950s and 1960s, Anshan, represented by Mr. Yang Tianrong, created new books. Some popular novels such as "The Fiery King Kong", "Red Rock", "Song of Youth" and "Wild Fire Spring Wind Fighting the Ancient City" promoted the new school of Pingshu to the whole country. After the 1970s, Liu Lanfang, Shan Tianfang and Zhang Hefang, the "Three Fangs" appeared in the Anshan Quyi circle, pushing Anshan Pingshu to the peak, creating a new look and gaining a national reputation. Therefore, Anshan has the reputation of being the hometown of storytelling. Especially after Liu Lanfang's "The Biography of Yue Fei" made a sensation across the country, and Shan Tianfang's "The White-Eyebrowed Hero" became popular all over the country, many people would not only think of steel when mentioning Anshan, but also naturally think of storytelling. Characteristics and evaluation Hands, eyes, body, methods, and steps are what Anshan storytelling should pay attention to. Most of the storytelling artists in Anshan were influenced by Yang Tianrong, and they emphasized both "stability" and "accuracy" in their performances. The so-called "stability" means that the hands, eyes, body, methods, and steps are just right, and the emphasis is on conveying emotions. Yang Tianrong is best at applying traditional ventriloquism to new storytelling. For example, the scene of the battle on the bridge in "The Fierce Battle of the Nameless River" involves fighter planes, tanks, cannons, long and short guns, light and heavy machine guns, grenades, bombs and more than a dozen other weapons, which he can imitate vividly with ventriloquism. An old man in Sinuiju, North Korea, wrote to the reporter: "After listening to your moving storytelling and amazing ventriloquism, I almost forgot that I was sitting by the radio, as if I had returned to the war-torn years." On and off the stage, Anshan storytelling artists emphasize both internal and external cultivation, and influence each other. Several good stories in the history of Anshan storytelling have been passed down from generation to generation. Shan Tianfang, a nationally famous storytelling master, still remembers Yang Tianrong's earnest teachings. It turned out that when Shan Tianfang first became popular, he suffered from having no new works to say. Yang Tianrong taught Shan Tianfang by word of mouth, and told him "Three Heroes and Five Gallants" that no one had ever told in Anshan before. Later, Shan Tianfang's fame grew, from Anshan to the three provinces in the northeast, and then he brought his books into the country, becoming popular all over China. Development status After Yang Peiqin joined Anshan Radio Station, she has been responsible for the recording, recording, and distribution of storytelling. Influenced by her father, she also has a high level of attainment in the art of storytelling. The storytelling she recorded or personally broadcast has won provincial and national awards many times. Yang Peiqin told reporters that the storytelling recorded by Anshan Radio Station has a great influence in the country. The reason why Anshan's storytellers are famous is that Anshan Radio Station was the first in the country to use the form of radio storytelling to spread storytelling further. There were more than 60 radio stations in the country that simultaneously broadcast the storytelling recorded by Anshan Radio Station. At the national ordering conference, the tapes of Anshan storytelling are always in short supply. "In addition, Anshan Radio Station understands storytelling and knows what kind of books the audience likes to listen to. It can always get the pulse of the audience." Entering the 21st century, with the rapid development of various media, storytelling seems to no longer have the glory of the past. However, the storytelling recorded by Anshan Radio Station every year is still at the forefront of all radio stations in the country. The hundreds of storytelling recorded every year are still "the emperor's daughter has no worries about marriage." In addition to northern cities, radio stations in southern regions such as Guangdong and Guangxi in my country, as well as Shanghai in East China, all broadcast storytelling recorded by Anshan Radio Station. Although there are some differences in language, Anshan storytelling is still loved by the majority of southern audiences. Historically, Anshan has the reputation of being the hometown of storytelling. It is understood that the storytelling art of Qianshan can be traced back to the Liao and Jin Dynasties. Among the Han people in the Central Plains, the storytellers came to the Qianshan area. There were "Baiyou" performances in the Khitan period. "Baiyou" was an artist who told funny stories in ancient times. In the Liao and Jin Dynasties, it was "using propaganda as a play". The storytelling art was popular in the Qianshan area during the Yuan and Ming Dynasties. It is said that Nurhaci, the first emperor of the Qing Dynasty, and Huang Taiji, the first emperor of the Qing Dynasty, liked to listen to storytelling. Most of these storytellers came from Liaoyang, Haicheng and southern Liaoning. In modern times, storytelling is particularly popular. There are drama sheds and storytelling halls in Liaoyang and Haicheng in the Qianshan area. On market days or at night, the storytelling halls (sheds) are crowded. Language and props Anshan Pingshu is based on Mandarin and has the artistic characteristics of boldness, tension, movement and passion. The language is colloquial, and the style is bold, simple, warm and bright. It is closely integrated with the local people's living language, and is melodious, fascinating and imaginative. One person, one table, one chair, one fan, one wake-up block and one handkerchief have strong expressiveness and high educational, literary and entertainment value. It is reported that Anshan Pingshu and Shenyang Pingshu are of the same origin and can be traced back to a long time ago. During the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, there was a Pingshu artist Wang Kuisheng who told stories of "Journey to the West" and "The Biography of Jigong" in Shenyang. By the end of the Qing Dynasty, there were 11 teahouses in Shenyang dedicated to storytelling artists. Later, many "singing and singing" artists who performed drums moved from the capital to the Northeast and changed to storytelling, which led to the formation of a certain scale of storytelling in the Northeast. In 1913, the Shenyang Education Department founded a model storytelling hall and attached a commentary research association, which evaluated 55 professional commentary artists. Since then, Liaoning Pingshu art has emerged in large numbers. At that time, many storytellers went to various industrial and mining areas in the province to give storytelling performances. Especially after the establishment of the steel company in Anshan, the number of workers increased, attracting many famous storytellers. At that time, tea houses were everywhere in Tiexi District of Anshan, making it one of the important bases for storytelling in Northeast China. (No pictures yet, welcome to provide.)
