Xinjiang
🎧  Listen to Introduction

Historically, the Daolang people were mainly distributed in the Balchuk area. They were just a branch of the Uyghur ethnic group, but they were different from other Uyghur people in terms of living customs, language, culture and appearance. In particular, the Daolang dance, which has simple tunes, bold style and rough style, is unique and is one of the Uyghur folk dances. In recent years, Daolang dance has quietly emerged in southern Xinjiang. You can see Daolang dance everywhere in the fields, deep courtyards, grand festivals, weddings, and literary evenings. If a distinguished guest arrives, the Daolang people will naturally dance a cheerful Daolang dance to welcome you. There are also sheep-picking and horse racing activities that show the national character, which are fascinating and memorable. (No pictures yet, welcome to provide.)
