Zhuang medicine is the traditional medicine of the Zhuang people. It is a traditional medicine of the Zhuang people, based on the ancient Luoyue culture and Lingnan culture, with yin and yang as the basis, Qiaowu (brain) as the main god, the synchronization of the three qi of human, heaven and earth, the body of internal organs, bones, flesh, qi and blood, and the "three ways" of airway, valley and waterway and the "two ways" of dragon road and fire road. Moxibustion with medicinal thread is one of the external treatment methods of Zhuang medicine. The medicinal thread used by Zhuang medicine is twisted from ramie, with diameters ranging from 0.25 mm, 0.7 mm, and 1 mm. It is soaked in medicine and dried for use. When used, the medicinal thread is ignited and the patient's body surface acupuncture points are burned to achieve the purpose of unblocking the dragon road and fire road. It has the effects of dispelling wind and arthralgia, relieving pain and itching, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, and reducing swelling and dispersing knots. In this therapy, the ramie medicinal thread and the soaked medicine are all made from local materials, and the prescription of the herbal medicine is composed of prescriptions according to Zhuang medicine theory. The acupuncture points include plum blossom point, lotus point, eldest son point (all of which are in the image of the acupuncture point), and experience points. Acupuncture points of traditional Chinese medicine can also be used. The Zhuang population in China is more than 16 million, mainly distributed in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Wenshan Zhuang Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province. The application of Zhuang medicine is mainly by the Zhuang people, and the surrounding Miao, Yao, Dong and other ethnic groups also exchange and use it. Zhuang medicine thread moxibustion therapy has been promoted nationwide as a rural appropriate technology because of its convenient application and good efficacy.
