Originated from the Tang Dynasty, its contents are divided into storytelling songs, worldly songs, duets, competition songs, big talk songs, riddle songs, love songs, short folk songs, etc. They are all created and sung in the Longshui dialect, with four sentences and seven words. There is also a six-sentence form of "seven seven seven three five seven". Almost every sentence rhymes. It is an oral improvisation and is mostly distributed in the Nanjiang River Basin of our city.
