Influenced by the older generation of folk artists, the new generation of folk story inheritors in Caolu area has gradually increased. Since the 1970s, a group of literary creators have emerged in Caolu, such as Cao Gangqiang, Gu Zhengquan, Xu Zhengyan, Zhu Guoqin, Zhang Dezhong, etc. These authors live in rural areas and take root in alleys. They are good at observation and writing, constantly absorbing nutrition from the people.
