Hongbinlou Restaurant was founded in 1853 (the third year of Emperor Xianfeng's reign in the Qing Dynasty), and has a history of nearly 150 years. It was originally located in Tianjin. According to historical records, it was located on Xu Street when it opened, and later moved to the Japanese Concession. In 1955, it was invited by Prime Minister 1 to Beijing. It is a well-known Muslim restaurant. It is praised by gourmets, Muslims and all walks of life as "the first Muslim restaurant in Beijing".
