Beijing Tong Ren Tang is a well-known time-honored brand in the Chinese medicine industry. It was founded in the eighth year of Emperor Kangxi's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1669). In the long history of more than 300 years, successive generations of Tong Ren Tang people have strictly adhered to the traditional old saying of "no matter how complicated the preparation is, we must not save labor, and no matter how expensive the taste is, we must not reduce the material resources", and established the self-discipline awareness of "no one sees the preparation, but the intention is known by God", ensuring the long-term prosperity of Tong Ren Tang's golden signboard. Since the first year of Emperor Yongzheng's reign (1721), Tong Ren Tang officially supplied medicines to the imperial pharmacy of the Qing Palace, and has been used by eight generations of emperors for 188 years. This has created the spirit of Tong Ren Tang people to be careful and meticulous in the process of making medicines. Its products are famous at home and abroad for "unique formula, superior materials, exquisite craftsmanship, and remarkable efficacy", and have produced many Chinese patent medicines with remarkable efficacy. Tong Ren Tang not only has the "Ten Trump Cards", but also has formed a product series represented by the "Ten Famous Medicines", thus winning wide praise and favor from people at home and abroad. Tong Ren Tang History In 1669 (the eighth year of Emperor Kangxi's reign in the Qing Dynasty), Le Xianyang founded Tong Ren Tang's pharmacy. In 1702, Le Fengming moved the pharmacy to the south of Dashilan Road in Qianmen. In 1706, Le Fengming summarized the experience of his predecessors in making medicines based on the secret recipes of the palace, folk prescriptions, and ancestral prescriptions, and completed the book "Le's Generational Ancestral Pills, Powders, Pastes, and Pills Ingredients". The preface of the book clearly stated that "even if the preparation is complicated, we must not save labor, and even if the taste is expensive, we must not reduce material resources", which became the pharmacy principle of Tong Ren Tang people of all generations. In 1723 (the first year of Emperor Yongzheng's reign in the Qing Dynasty), the emperor appointed Tong Ren Tang to supply medicines to the imperial pharmacy of the Qing Palace and to exclusively handle official medicines. This lasted for 188 years under eight generations of emperors. In 1948, Le Songsheng, the 13th generation descendant of the Le family, took over as the manager of Tong Ren Tang. In 1954, Tong Ren Tang took the lead in implementing public-private partnership. In 1955, Tong Ren Tang manager Le Songsheng was cordially received by Chairman Mao Zedong and Premier Li Keqiang in Zhongnanhai. In the same year, he was elected as a representative of the Beijing Municipal People's Congress and served as the deputy mayor of Beijing. He served as a representative of the first, second and third National People's Congress and a vice chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce. In 1956, on behalf of the Beijing business community, Manager Le Songsheng presented the good news of the full implementation of public-private partnership in Beijing's private enterprises to Chairman Mao Zedong, Chairman Li Keqiang and Premier Li Keqiang at the Tiananmen Gate Tower. In 1957, Tong Ren Tang Chinese Medicine Refining Plant was formally established, creating a precedent for the westernization of Chinese medicine. In 1979, the Tong Ren Tang factory and store brand were restored. In 1985, the Beijing Municipal Government held a grand celebration meeting for the 315th anniversary of the establishment of Tong Ren Tang in the Great Hall of the People. The Party Central Committee and the State Council are very concerned about Beijing Tong Ren Tang and attach great importance to this commemorative event. National leaders such as Li Keqiang, Li Keqiang, Li Keqiang, Li Keqiang, Zheng Tianxiang, Li Keqiang and others wrote more than 30 inscriptions for Tong Ren Tang. In 1989, the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce recognized "Tong Ren Tang" as a well-known trademark and was specially protected by the state. The "Tong Ren Tang" trademark was also the first trademark in China to apply for international registration in Madrid and the first trademark in mainland China to apply for registration in Taiwan. In 1991, Tong Ren Tang Pharmaceutical Factory was promoted to a national first-class enterprise. In 1992, China Beijing Tong Ren Tang Group Co., Ltd. was established. On August 19, the group's founding meeting was grandly held in the Great Hall of the People. In July, the chairman wrote an inscription for Tong Ren Tang, "Carry forward Tong Ren Tang's fine tradition of quality first and serve the people's health care cause." In 1997, the State Council identified 120 large enterprise groups as pilot units for the modern enterprise system. Tong Ren Tang was listed as the only Chinese medicine enterprise in the country. In 1997, six high-performing enterprises of the group company established Beijing Tong Ren Tang Co., Ltd. In July of the same year, Tong Ren Tang's stock was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, which marked an important step for Tong Ren Tang in the process of modern enterprise system. In 1997, eight major production lines of the group's affiliated enterprises passed the Australian GMP certification, laying the foundation for Tong Ren Tang products to further enter the world. In 1999, the Tong Ren Tang Development Committee was established. The purpose of the committee is to be based in China, face the world, focus on the future, improve the scientific and technological content of Tong Ren Tang products, and provide "heavyweight products" with intellectual property rights for Tong Ren Tang's take-off in the 21st century. In March 2000, the Tong Ren Tang Building was completed. In May, Beijing Tong Ren Tang Technology Development Co., Ltd. was established. In October of the same year, it was listed on the Hong Kong Growth Enterprise Market, achieving the first successful listing of A-shares in China. In May, Tong Ren Tang Maierhai Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was established, starting the initial exploration of the field of bioengineering. In October, Tong Ren Tang Hutchison (Hong Kong) Pharmaceutical Development Co., Ltd. was established in Hong Kong, taking a key step for Tong Ren Tang products to enter the international mainstream market. In June 2001, in cooperation with the Chongwen District Health Bureau, Beijing Tong Ren Tang Chongwen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital was established, and it was officially unveiled on June 18, marking that Tong Ren Tang is making beneficial explorations in realizing the organic combination of traditional Chinese medicine and Chinese medicine. In July, China Beijing Tong Ren Tang (Group) Co., Ltd., authorized by the Beijing Municipal Government, was officially unveiled. This marked that Tong Ren Tang had achieved a standardized corporate transformation and was also a major institutional reform.
